Está semana en el Energy Contest Refill N° 19 nos presentan esta frase:

When I read this sentence many things went through my head, experiences that at some point I felt was the worst thing that could happen to me and then I realized that I was gaining much more with what I was losing. And it gives me the opportunity to share with you some reflections.
Al leer esta frase me pasaron muchas cosas por la cabeza, experiencias que en algún momento sentí era lo peor que me podía pasar y luego me di cuenta que ganaba mucho más con lo que estaba perdiendo. Y da pie a que comparta con ustedes algunas reflexiones.

It has been about 4 years since I became a Volunteer Doctor Yaso and I feel the same fear since the day I attended the interview. I came with the idea that I was going to help others, that I was going to give my contribution in difficult moments.
I found a world of gratitude, especially gratitude in me.
Many times I have been asked, "What do you get out of it? Do you know that what you do lasts only minutes and then people feel bad again? And so many more and worse. So I just ask And isn't it satisfying to feel that even for a moment you have changed the world for someone?
It won, the satisfaction of knowing that I was there for someone, that I was able to give a reason to go on that I was able to be a part of someone's joy. It won, gratitude. For me, for my family and for all of my loved ones who are in good health, who are not in need of help, medical care or hospitalization. I give thanks.
The emotion that a patient or a citizen receives when receiving a Volunteer of Doctor Yaso does not last seconds, nor minutes, it lasts hours, days, weeks, months and even years. They are experiences that are kept for that different moment when you felt all was lost. We provide support.
Agradecimiento
Han pasado ya aproximadamente 4 años desde que soy Voluntaria Doctor Yaso y siento el mismo susto desde el día que asistí a la entrevista. Llegué con la idea de que iba ayudar a otros, que iba dar mi aporte en lo momentos difíciles.
Me encontré con un mundo de agradecimiento sobre todo agradecimiento En mí.
Muchas veces me han preguntado ¿Que ganas con eso?¿Sabes que eso que haces dura solo minutos y luego las personas se vuelven a sentir mal? Y así muchas más y peores. Entonces solo pregunto ¿Y no es satisfactorio sentir que aunque sea por un momento has cambiado el mundo para alguien?
Ganó la satisfacción de saber que estuve allí para alguien, que pude dar un motivo para seguir que pude ser parte de la alegría de alguien. Ganó, agradecimiento. Por mi, por mi familia y por todos los míos que gozan de buena salud, que no tienen necesidad de ayuda, de atenciones médicas ni estar internados. Doy Gracias
La emoción que recibe un paciente o un ciudadano al recibir a un Voluntario de Doctor Yaso no dura segundos, ni minutos, dura horas, días, semanas, meses y hasta años. Son experiencias que se van guardando por ese momento distinto que hubo mientras sentías todo estaba perdido. Brindamos apoyo
Quality Time
When this whole Pandemic period started, like many I just thought what am I going to do, we are not going to be able to do anything. Me with a small child, all in isolation, I panicked.
As the days went by, I realized that if it hadn't been for all this time in isolation, I wouldn't have realized some things.
- My life was going on just getting to and from work.
- I had all my financial options on my job alone and depended on a bi-weekly or monthly income.
- I would see my child only when work allowed me to.
Now I have time for my child. A job that gives me a flexible schedule. Income in various options, which may not be at its maximum but I know it will pay off in the long run.
Tiempo de Calidad
Cuando inició todo este periodo Pandemia al igual que muchos solo pensaba que voy hacer no vamos a poder hacer nada. Yo con un niño pequeño, todos en aislamiento, entre en pánico.
Con el pasar de los días, me di cuenta que si no hubiese sido por todo este tiempo de reguardo, no me hubiese dado cuenta de algunas cosas.
- Mi vida se iba solo en ir y venir del trabajo
- Tenía todas mis opciones financieras solo en mi empleo y dependia de un ingreso quincenal o mensual.
- Iba ver a mi niño solo cuando el trabajo me lo permitiera.
Ahora tengo tiempo para mí niño. Un empleo que me da un horario flexible. Ingresos en varias opciones, que tal vez no están a su máximo pero sé que a la larga se verán mejores resultados.
