This is not very good if allowed to continue, because, someone who has Nomophobia will not be able to concentrate or focus on more important things. For example, when the lecturer or teacher is explaining in front of the class, the person with Nomophobia cannot focus on capturing the lesson, because there is an excessive sense of worry when the person is not looking at the smartphone screen.
The characteristics of people with Nomophobia are as follows:
- Bad mood when smartphone signal decreases
- Too restless if the smartphone is not in hand
- Always carry a power-bank or charger for fear of running out of battery
- Always carry a smartphone even in the bathroom
- Smartphone must be on the side when sleeping
- Checking Smartphone when waking up
