Today I just wanted to talk and hopefully get some discussion going of where proof of brain goes from here... The tokenomics are obviously appealing to many mimicking the daddy of crypto that is bitcoin - so no issues there!
We have a real chance to make something great here, there is genuine enthusiasm for this project and that's something I have not seen so much in other tribes.
What usually happens is new tribe tags just get added to whatever people are posting about - and this magically creates some dust tokens that can be exchanged for hive. Im going to throw out a educated guess here, most people dont give a shit about the tribe or the new tags they are using - they are simply a way of increasing earnings - and that is the core reason why 99% of people post.
Could proof of brain be different???
I really think it could be, I am absolutly guilty of adding in tags to my posts to increase earrnings, even if by a dust amount. pal and neoxian and archon I am looking at you. Sorry but I use your tags simply to increase earnings even if by a microscopic amount - that's a bit of a shitty thing to do really but am I alone?? NO.
But with POB something Is different, for some reason I am holding my earnings, no i am Staking them! and with now over 89% staked I am not alone. Something Is different here. I have the feeling this isn't just your average new front end and tags to milk dry.
However I say that with caution, I am well aware MANY will do just that.
So it is up to the community to decide...Just what DO we want from proof of brain? are we just looking for more new tags to add to our posts for extra rewards?? or are we looking for somewhere new to build up from the ground?? Can any old posts be made and "rewarded" here - or will we inevitably need some sort of direction? I feel we could be on the cusp of something great here - but it is so early, and I think talk is about the best thing we have right now..
I would like to have a honest and frank discussion about this.
