There's been a few PoB how to's which further extend to Hive, Leo and many other communities. People are providing some really great examples and ideas on how to lift your blog and how to earn on the hive block chain. Truth be told there are many different ways to earn. Where it be from joining a curation trail, participating in wonderful contests like PoB word of the week and many other communities that run regular events.
They're all correct but there is one clear main way that will really help you grow on hive even if you don't want to engage in discord servers. I will add that discord is a wonderful place to get tips and ideas while also making friends.
But it comes down to one main method and that's consistency the same as all things in life. If you remain consistent with something soon you will become an expert and learn all the ins and outs. You will develop a following and you will also find more great content creators to follow and learn off.
Think of your hive block chain blog not purely as a means to make money, that will come. Think of it as an extension of yourself and make it part of your routine. I quite often come across many people that say they run out of things to blog about, but the truth is that there is an abundance of content all around you. Even in lock down there are interesting things happening and consistency can help you focus on what to blog about.
For me I have become pretty consistent with my posting where everymorning I will spend a fair bit of time reading emerging news on Cryptocurrancy or other relevant topics and then I'll write a leo finance blog about the things I think the people I try to appeal to will like. I dont always get it right but for me, remaining consistent and having that blog post up in the morning (Australian Eastern Standard Time) means I target that same audiance who can expect me to write about the news that matters most to them.
I tend to follow up my evening with another blog one more focused on groups that I like to follow and support such as homeedders, motherhood, architecture and design and a number of other groups. As a father with young kids the parenting groups have been helpful with learning new tips and tricks on what to do and how to handle dad life.
Architecture and design has also been a wonderful group where as someone who is currently building a home it helped me understand more about design and how to plan a great home.
Be consistent with your upvotes too, it's hard to upvote every great post as we only get 10 full upvotes per day. Now you can exceed beyond that and I often do but then it will take you longer to restore your power. So remaining around the 90% after each day is a sure way that you can come back tomorrow and upvote more content.
Personally each day I spend a day in each of my community groups that I post in and upvote content that is really good and I enjoy. I also have a few people I consistently support as I do like the content they provide and the service they give to the Hive block chain. I consistently support them because I want them to remain. Now I don't always agree with what they have to say but that's ok, I'm not always right even if I think I am.
If you choose to go onto discord and I'd highly recommend it, it pays to be consistent too. Not consistent as in 'Hi how are you?" And that's it, stick around have a chat make friends and engage in discussions. Don't be afraid of saying the wrong thing. Everyone will eventually say the wrong thing that's just life. We move on. Quite often I see users jump into a chat and just write hi and that's it, I know at times I have done similar things but that is often at times discord servers can be quite and my time zone tends to put me outside of peak times.
Another thing you can also do to remain consistent is make small purchases, this is something I also do. I set aside a monthly budget which I call my gambling budget and I invest a bit each week into Hive. This consistency provides me with a base line to continue to grow.
Having good content is king but being consistent with good content is queen. You can have all the great content in the world but if you're not being consistent with your followers you will struggle to retain them and they will move along to the next content creator.
So always remember that consistency is just as important as content.
I hope you've enjoyed my post and it helps you in your endeavours on the Hive Block Chain and just always remember to have fun!
