The Internet and online technologies are still in their infancy, but there is already a perception that television is under threat today and that online interactive media will clearly dominate television and the broadcasts it requires. Of course, television will not disappear completely, but the television-related industry is facing a major shock, so a large part of television-related content providers are likely to disappear because they will not be able to generate enough revenue due to the small number of viewers.
Online content providers, on the other hand, could evolve and to some extent take over the fields filled in by those interested via television. If one thinks that a person should have enough with online media, then this is unlikely to be the case, but relatively this type of information could dominate for a longer period of time until people have an understanding of how and the main advantages of using interactive media. But whether interactive media will be the last step in obtaining information, I wonder if, just as in the case of radio broadcasting, television was seen as something absolutely extreme and unbeatable, and even I think the use of interactive technologies could be replaced by some kind of technological innovation. which type and principles of operation the best that one can offer at the moment is to make subjective conjectures. One direction could be to use the experience gained in sleep to prepare an individual for a new day of work without wasting time on things that are secondary to it. It is also possible that to some extent the acquisition and cognition of information will be related to machine learning algorithms, which will prepare the information a person needs in an exciting game format, so potentially the individual should have more time to solve everyday issues. someone may become bound by pre-built software.
Consequently, this is by no means the first step in replacing one type of information transfer mechanism with another, but each time an innovation appears on the horizon, it frustrates all other information transfer mechanisms to some extent, so it takes time to balance the information media environment and restructured.
Historical steps of information exchange:
- exchange of oral or interpersonal information
- transfer of books or thoughtfully prepared information
- newspapers, magazines, or periodical prepared information
- radio or publicly available information environment at the same time
- television or public entertainment information environment
- online technologies or publicly interactive information environment
Of course, I did not consider all the nuances here, because the cultural significance of oral culture - songs, articles, folk songs or letter writing and comic book publishing - could be subdivided, but at the end of the post, I will touch on things related to the use of interactive or online technologies and their rapid recognition gaining in society. As you know, the interactive environment provides immediate feedback to the content provider and the content consumer, which is a key advantage of online technology. Of course, another important advantage could be the availability or the preservation of an 'information node', so that the consumer of information can get acquainted with the information at a time convenient or convenient for him. Undoubtedly, the anonymity associated with certain risks is also emphasized, as providers of quality and reliable information are usually forced to cooperate to some extent with the authorities in order to regulate the behavior of information consumers if necessary. As a result, interactive online technologies can be said to effectively combine all previous forms of information exchange, while also providing communication opportunities that pose new challenges at the individual level - it is increasingly difficult for online users to distinguish between public behavior and personal perceptions in order to preserve their homogeneity both among people close to them and in front of strangers.
