21 days ago, I made the decision to write my goals for May in the POB tribe.

When writing the post, and deciding my goals, I thought I was perhaps being too ambitious, after all, I established that I wanted to stake at least 150 POB’s by the end of the month.

Being new to the tribe, without meeting many people, knowing that I would have to produce in English, that I would need to have a rhythm that I hadn't had in a while, that I would have to have a minimum of constancy, I hesitated.

But I decided to stake 150 POBS as a goal. Even if I didn't reach it, everything would be ok. I would do what I could, and that's it, it's not like I'm going to miss something.

Well, before it even reached 15 days from the start of the race, 1 week ago, when I received a prize of 100 POB's from the second storytelling contest organized by @fireguardian,I could have hit the goal, hell, I thought a lot about what to do, but pay some debts, which I have already mentioned in other posts, it would help me more, including freeing up mental space to be able to produce better and focus.

I am not a person who likes to be in debt, the circumstances of life have not favored me in this sense, but I have a view on that, which I will talk about in other posts, which encompasses not liking being in debt to anybody.

So I paid some debts, and decided to trust the results of the next few days.

Well then. We arrived today, and I not only managed to win the 3rd edition of the contest proposed by @fireguardian, but the rewards of my posts from the last few days have accumulated a value that could help me achieve my goal.

Still, I thought a lot in these last 2 or 3 days, about what to do, I took into consideration several posts that talk about stake, including aggressive posts that make fun of those who do, I also considered posts from people dissatisfied with the fate of certain prizes from some contests, I put these ideas in opposition to plans that I have that depend on financial investment, and reflected on several other things.

A few years ago, the elected president of our country, said a phrase that went something like this:

“We are not going to set a goal. We are going to leave an open goal. When we reach the goal, we double the goal. ”

Many people made fun of her at the time, and some still do, but over time, several situations related to this speech happened, for good, or unfortunately like some that we are living in our country, for bad.

And I quote that phrase, because when I saw how much POB’s I had, I decided to follow this phrase idea. Not only did I reach my target of 150 POB’s in stake, but I doubled.
I say that it is not easy, having 200 POB’s in hand, which is equivalent to almost a Brazilian minimum wage, and deciding to save, deciding to trust a future, which in the last 23 months, more than ever, is something very uncertain. It is not easy, and demands sacrifices. And I understand who really needs to use each POB that enters, after all, debt is never good, and whoever has a family has a responsibility to provide.

But I made the stake even though it was difficult, not because I believe in someone's vision, not to flaunt it or anything, but because I believe in the platform, because I like the concept of POS, because I want my vote to have more strength every time, so I can support other new people in the POB tribe, because I can, among other reasons.

I believe in sowing, investing, not killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. And I encourage people to understand and practice this when they can. I come from a poor background, and I know that sometimes, between debts, needs, etc., keeping is not a priority, and although I have not lived through the worst times in my country, I grew up at times when inflation was eating away at most investments , especially the accessible ones (very rare), for the poor populations.

I have many other views on this, which I will address in other texts, but I will always defend that each person first needs to have something to eat, to survive, in order to later be able to think about the future.

But at the moment I could make the stake, and more, I could and I doubled my goal, and if I can, by the end of the month, I want to double the double of my goal, and besides, I decided that any amount that comes in from prizes will go directly to the stake. We'll see what happens.

Now maybe there are people wondering why I made this post.

Well, first to say that it is possible. It is not easy, but it is possible to build a stake. Second to say that it is necessary. If you want to support other people, if you want to show commitment to the idea, take a stake. If you don't want to regret having used everything now, when in the future the tribe grows, make a stake. Create a plan and do it.

I also made this post to reinforce an example. It is no use talking about investments, about trust, about sowing and saving the goose, if I exchange all the seeds and the chicken for jelly beans. It would be hypocrisy, and we must avoid being hypocrites.

Finally, this post serves as a milestone, it is important to set goals achieved. Reinforces the search for other goals.

In addition to what I said above, I will not set any target for the rest of this month, I will leave it open, and if I reach the open goal, I will double the goal. And let more posts and POB’s come!!

Há 21 dias atrás, eu tomei a decisão de escrever meus objetivos até o fim de maio para a tribe POB.

Ao escrever o post, e decidir minha meta, achei que estava sendo talvez ambicioso demais, afinal, estabeleci que queria fazer um stake de no minimo 150 POB’s até o fim do mês.

Sendo novo na tribe, sem conhecer muitas pessoas, sabendo que teria que produzir em inglês, que teria que retomar um ritmo que há um tempo eu não tinha, que teria que ter uma constância minima, eu titubeei.

Mas decidi colocar 150 POBS em stake como meta. Mesmo que não alcançasse, estaria tudo ok. Faria o que pudesse, e pronto, não é como se eu fosse perder alguma coisa.

Pois bem, antes mesmo de chegar a 15 dias do inicio da corrida, há 1 semana atrás, ao receber um prêmio de 100 POB’s do segundo concurso de storytelling organizado por @fireguardian, eu poderia ter batido a meta, caramba, pensei muito no que fazer, mas pagar algumas dividas, coisa que já falei em outros posts, me ajudaria mais, inclusive a liberar espaço mental para poder produzir melhor e focar.

Não sou uma pessoa que gosta de dever, as circunstâncias da vida não favoreceram nesse sentido, mas tenho uma visão sobre isso, que falarei em outros posts, que engloba não gostar de dever ninguém.

Então paguei algumas dívidas, e decidi confiar nos resultados dos próximos dias.

Pois bem. Chegamos a hoje, e não só consegui ganhar a 3ª edição do concurso proposto por @fireguardian, como as recompensas de meus posts dos ultimos dias acumularam um valor que poderia me ajudar a cumprir minha meta.

Ainda assim, pensei muito nesses ultimos 2 ou 3 dias, sobre o que fazer, levei em consideração vários posts que falam sobre stake, inclusive posts agressivos que zombam de quem faz, também considerei posts de pessoas insatisfeitas com o destino de certos prêmios de alguns concursos, coloquei essas ideias em oposição a planos que tenho que dependem de investimento financeiro, e refleti sobre várias outras coisas.

Há alguns anos, a presidente eleita do nosso país, disse uma frase que era mais ou menos assim:

“Nós não vamos colocar uma meta. Nós vamos deixar uma meta aberta. Quando a gente atingir a meta, nós dobramos a meta.”

Muitas pessoas zombaram dela na época, e algumas ainda zombam, mas ao longo do tempo, várias situações relacionadas com essa fala aconteceram, para o bem, ou infelizmente como algumas que estamos vivendo em nosso país, para o mal.

E cito essa frase, porque ao ver o tanto de POB’s liquidas que tinha, resolvi seguir a ideia. Não só atingi minha meta de 150 POB’s em stake, mas dobrei.

Digo que não é fácil, ter 200 POB’s em mãos, o que equivale a quase um salário minimo brasileiro, e decidir guardar, decidir confiar num futuro, que nos últimos 23 meses, mais do que nunca, é algo bem incerto. Não é fácil, e demanda sacrificios. E entendo quem realmente precisa usar cada POB que entra, afinal, dever nunca é bom, e quem tem familia tem responsabilidade de prover.

Mas fiz o stake mesmo sendo dificil, não por acreditar na visão de alguém, não para ostentar ou algo do tipo, mas porque acredito na plataforma, porque gosto do conceito de POS, porque quero que cada vez meu voto tenha mais força, para poder apoiar outras pessoas novas na tribo POB, porque posso, entre outros motivos.

Eu acredito no semear, no investir, em não matar a galinha dos ovos de ouro. E incentivo as pessoas a entenderem e praticarem isso quando puderem. Venho de uma origem pobre, e sei que as vezes, entre dívidas, necessidades, etc., guardar é algo não prioritário, e apesar de não ter vivido as piores épocas do meu país, cresci em momentos que a inflação corroía a maioria dos investimentos, principalmente os acessíveis(bem raros), para as populações pobres.

Tenho muitas outras visões sobre isso, que abordarei em outros textos, mas sempre vou defender que cada pessoa primeiro precisa ter o que comer, ter como sobreviver, para depois conseguir pensar no futuro.

Mas no momento podia fazer o stake, e mais, podia e dobrei a minha meta, e se puder, até o fim do mês, quero dobrar o dobro da minha meta, e além, decidi que qualquer quantia que entrar de prêmios irá direto para o stake. Veremos o que acontece.

Agora talvez tenha pessoas se questionando porque fiz esse post. Bem, primeiro para dizer que é possível. Não é fácil, mas é possível ir construindo um stake. Segundo para dizer que é necessário. Se quer apoiar outras pessoas, se quer demonstrar comprometimento com a ideia, faça stake. Se não quer se arrepender de ter usado tudo agora, quando no futuro a tribo crescer, faça stake. Crie um plano e faça.

Fiz esse post também para reforçar um exemplo. Não adianta eu falar sobre investimentos, sobre confiança, sobre semear e poupar a galinha, se troco todas as sementes e a galinha por jujubas. Seria hipocrisia, e devemos evitar sermos hipócritas.

Por fim, esse post serve como um marco, é importante marcar objetivos alcançados. Reforça a busca por outros objetivos.

Além do que falei acima, não vou traçar nenhuma meta para stake esse mês, vou deixar em aberto, e se alcançar a meta aberta, eu vou dobrar a meta. E que venham mais posts e POB’s!!
