The Mzarx500 is a fierce ship with cutting-edge technology. It's by far the fastest ship in the 98D sector, it has full plasma cannons, that can shoot in any direction, its design is slick and oppressive, making all other ships look like children's toys. It's so incredible that all the raiders of the sector try to put their hand on it, but always fail due to the speed and firepower of this ship. Most people call it "Death Lighting" but Captain Sam calls it "The Moth". And Sam can do that, after all, who is the owner of the ship? That's right, Sam is. Maybe that name is because of the stealth system of the ship, or maybe because it can fly in any direction, but no one dares to question the Captain. The small crew that travel with Sam is Mink, the crazy torak space engineer, and Lativber, the human weapon specialist. No one is sure of what race Sam is, but again, no one dares to question the Captain. They get along very well and have been in many trips together. You could say they are family already, just don't say it in front of the Captain. Something happened in the past with the Cap's family, but by now you probably know already what I'm going to say right?
It all started as it always does: Sam got a message to help some traders on the border of Guklen, really close to the unit system. "Ok, another easy job for us," thought Sam, while setting the course in the ship's main window. "Warp gate ready to deploy Cap!" screamed Mink below the deck. Sam was not a big fan of warp gates, but it was the only way to get to the destination in time to meet the traders. With a simple gesture in the air, the portal was open in front of the ship. A big golden purple ripple in space, bending the view in front of them. Lativber gripped tight to the chair, and in a blink of an eye, they were gone. The jump is supposed to be fast and clean, but for some reason, it was taking longer than usual. Sam decided to look to the left to watch the ripples of energy that happens when you warp, but what the Captain saw was...
meteors blazing the sides of the Mzarx500. at a glance, he thought it's just a small planet's remaining of an explosion. it's usually what the warp gate's energy does when it opens a crack in the cosmos. but something tells him no good about this massive fall out of these shootings stars, it was like a burst of the rainy sky on a desert oasis.
but that was equal to the heat of newly erupted lava domes.
Sam would never be fearful or even when he and his crew were facing bigger threats in the depth of the vast universe. but his gut feeling was telling him no good this time.
he looked eagerly in distress to the edge sides of the ship where the main engines are located. because in such moments a good captain would quickly calculate his options and what might be a minor hurdle can turn into a really difficult situation.
for he might be overreacting to call the crew in such intense voice and give away a bizarre order to shut the main steam engine and leave the ship on the auxiliary Krusado motors.
Lativber knew that questioning the captain's actions was strictly prohibited .it was more like a sacred vowel of the sailor to ship with his leader.
he spoke to Sam with an outrageous voice: " What's the point of keeping the ship with no dynamic force? we won't be able to use our defenses if under attack"
"There is no bigger threat than these fireball rockets bumping our ship from every side, look. it is nothing like any ordinary meteor. these things are somehow connected to a feeding source." sam said.
"the Captain is right!" said Torak space engineer. "if the space ship is kept running in full power, the engine won't sustain itself from a possible combust with these strange rocks.
we'd better have no control over steering than being burned alive"

The Mzarx500 is clearly unsubmissive to Sam's command. if that's the case, then whose controlling the ship? is it really under the mercy of an infinite universe or there are other forms of energies out there manipulating the Mzarx from a distance?
