One of the things I'll not forget in a hurry is the discussion I had with my husband and he repeated it over and over again. He said I love you the way you're and will not be happy if you get fat, just look healthy for me. This statement have made me to be more conscious of what I eat and over relaxing. Prior to my marriage last year, I was a lover of junk food and could eat that the whole day without getting tired of it. But today I'm now a dietitian and values more nutritious food that'll keep me healthy and not fat. Maintaining my Shape through Early Morning Jogging
Sports it's not my thing before I got married, I only jogg once in awhile during my leisure time not in the morning when I'm enjoying my sleep. Even the Holy bible encourages bodily exercise and said it profits a little. Since keeping fit is now the new reality of my life, I join my husband to jogg at least thrice every week. I do enjoy the exercise in the morning because it gives you the leverage to be fit and a bit lighter to do other house chores and prepare for work. As you can see I'm not fat but still needs to keep fit.
Maintaining my Weight through Healthy Food Menu
Apart from sporting activities, weight can be managed through eating food that contains less calories, fat and oil. In my previous post where I talked about cholesterol, it was pointed out that cholesterol is biosynthesized by all cells and is an essential structural component of animal cells membrane. I also outlined food that contains high cholesterol, which include; fatty cuts of meat, milk cream, cheese, yoghurts, pizza, hamburger, biscuits, egg and there likes. Constantly eating foods that contains high cholesterol can caused overweight. I'm not saying one should avoid eating food that contains cholesterol, but it should be curtailed. Even if one eats it constantly, one could still overcome through rigorous exercise. For the seek of keeping shape and maintaining weight I try to maintain diets that contains the following:
- high vegetables contents in my meals
- eat less fatty and cholesterol foods
- take fruits after every meal to balance my nutrition level.
- eat whole grain and beans
- eat more of plant sources of protein.
- eat fewer refined grains of such as white flour.
Finally, loving my husband is my priority and making him more attractive to me is my goal. This could only be achieved by maintaining my weight and shape. In your opinion I'm I not looking good?
