The issue of not having satisfaction for things we have in our custody or not being grateful for the things been blessed to us by God; is deeply a sin before man and God. I would support the point of greed being a deadly sin, not making us see how far we develop in our life’s, appreciating the efforts we make for success.
The act of greed, pushes a person to chew more than he/she can bite; we all run a different race and not all fingers can be equal. This factor is one big mistake most people don’t get to understand; you can never end up poor or broke when you work continuously to get paid. And that’s where been diligently comes in with satisfaction. It could always come slow or fast depending on how blessed we are with our hands.
I see people being in a heist to live another man’s achievements the next moment they breathe. Some end up being involved in drugs, cybercrime, robbery and rituals just to get the fast wealth and more wealth. A true factor is; Greed wealth doesn’t last; it’s always end up falling apart.
All well and good; you would enjoy the availability of the excess possession, but when the prize of greed comes, would you be able to stabilize it and still have your peace.
There’s only one prayer I make every morning which is; ‘Lord 🙏 any step I take that wouldn’t give me peace of mind please don’t allow me approach it’.
Most people I have seen make it with the act of greed are always desperate about any achievements; whiling to have more and always ready to takeout any obstacle from making them achieve a particular position.
A lot of things leads to the deadly sin ‘Greed’.
But;
- Power.
- Wealth.
- Lust.
Are the three things I know to well to develop greed in a man. They are always more to greedy acts but this are the three major triggers I know off.
Not until we start being appreciative to the little things we get blessed with; that’s when the act of greed becomes detached from us.
Greed is an unsatisfactory factor in everyman that would always reflect itself. And it can be managed and over looked through satisfaction. The feeling of attaining someone else’s possessions in addition to yours is a greedy factor.
Always wanting what you didn’t work for or getting easy means of comfort. But under our nosies, what we have can sustain our primary needs. Slow and steady we would get what we desire so badly.
Greed is bad and unacceptable action in every settlement, but becomes deadly when it controls our actions.
