This is where we had lunch and watched planes landing and departing. I can't think of a better way to spend a lunch hour.
Originally written on liketu, but it refused to post from there.
I am finally getting some time to put up a few photographs as I wait for dinner to come out of the oven.
The above photos were taken at the side of a little grass runway in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. Too many attempts to find a place to fly, find me better pilot who owns a plane takes people up before. My youngest fits that description.
I have a full video covering the 1.7 hours of flight time that I recently added to my log book. It has been about 20 years since I’ve flown and landed a plane. I am rusty but alive I will have you know.
The plane shown here is one of the many takeoffs we watched as we eat our lunch. It is not the plane that we flew in by the C170 will be remembered as the plane in which my youngest first flew. It was also a tail dragger.
Photos and videos of this event are forthcoming…
I was looking at these photos in watching the series of the plane growing up in the air and I thought it symbolised the New Year getting off the ground. Flying is one of my passions.
