Restless creatures in a hyper stimulated world.
Give it more time, nothing comes easy.
Easy come is just a hidden trap.
Building sandcastles is the norm when there's no solid foundation.
No enterprises sell concrete and there are no solid ground levels to built on.
I guess we have to do the best with what we have to the best of our abilities.
Gaining abilities, especially timeless ones are the best investment you can make on yourself, I kept hearing. Again and again.
I'm trying to discern what part of me is not doing actions for their own sake but because there's a specific outcome I'm chasing.
From the top of my head, I think timeless abilities are abilities that we always need to do because the demand naturally outweighs the supply or because there's an inherent necessity, naturally.
I'm not sure if being a doctor can be considered timeless.
Maybe a natural healer of sorts will fit the bill, since dis-ease is a core part of reality, there will always be a need.
I wonder if everyone can be a healer to offset this imbalance.
In theory, it seems so. I've witnessed a couple of instances where a person dove straight into learning this general vast subject simply because a loved one has fallen ill.
I've been both sides of the spectrum and it's a scary yet beautiful realization that we can do anything for love.
Anything goes, whatever it takes.
Where do I draw the line when there are no lines to draw?
I know, the question itself is paradoxical.
It's a frustrating feeling to understand that there's no right or wrong answer within the periphery of the circle of life.
The center or point at the center is rather clear, in terms of purpose.
You always have to get a bit dirty when venturing into muddy waters.
The dirt is just the cost of learning.
I like explorations without a destination simply because the journey itself is the reward.
Actually, it's not that simple. Let's say it's an inherent desire for discovery.
But if you start somewhere, then you got to end somewhere, right?
Arguably, the end precedes the start. Because the start is like a seed that already contained what the end will potentially become.
Possibilities always give this false sense of a multiplicity of choices to choose from.
In reality, only one possibility plays out at a time. The rest remain as potential futures that could easily turn into regrets if not pursued.
You know smartphones are a work of genius as much as they're a blessing to humanity.
My ordinary mind can't still fully get why we've become over assimilated into this digital dependency.
What could just fit on your pocket, implying a place to store while you do other things ended up hardly ever staying in your pocket but always a few inches from your face, as if it has become an extension of yourself.
You got to give it to Them, whoever They are that crafted this invention.
Next level genius.
