Well Hello There Fellow Hivers
So I thought it good to give some sort of update on my HivePower it probably isn't needed at all, I mean everyone has a visible wallet so anyone that actually poses some sort of interest into what I have can check for themselves.
But this is not why I am sharing.
I am sharing this because I feel like I have achieved something, I haven't yet achieved the actual goal that I set for my self but in between the start and finish of your big dreams you gotta cut that big dreams into smaller bite size portions.
You know? Just to make it a little bit more realistic.
I set a goal for myself to reach the HivePower balance that I had before I left/forgot about the platform? It was shortly after that whole Steemit/Hive fork business.
I suppose I was confused about what the hell is going on.
The goal I set for myself was to gain 3000 HivePower and well folks I made it halfway so far! I can't believe it myself! I made such good progression so fast! Certainly a lot faster than I first thought I would! I reckoned that I'd probably have my 3k total by the end of a two year term.
Shocked myself with that!
On November the second I made a HPUD post, in that post I share that I have finally reached 1000 HivePower well since then I made 500 more. I am currently standing on 1566 HivePower. So in less than 44 days I made more than 500 HivePower fairly good if you ask me! And I have to say that is without converting the HBD rewards to Hive, if I did that I'd probably be standing at the 2k mark probably even more.
Might have had my 3k by now if I did the HBD conversions! But I felt like I needed to claim some of the rewards and throw them in the bank!
When Will I Reach My Goal?
Will I ever reach my goal?
Will I ever reach a point where I feel I have enough now? I suppose not who has ever had enough money? But besides the monetization behind it all it's almost like a game I want to get more and more resources to increase my power on the platform. I know this sounds greedy in some way but much like you give away a few cents to people with votes I would like to have more voting power so that I can censor what I don't like (and what others won't like) with a more effective down-vote than my current one.
So I guess I would never really reach an end goal. But I suppose by the end of March I would most likely have reached my 3K HP or well I hope.
Bottom Line?
Well I'd say just keep on Hiving! Keep on sharing your daily doings, your adventures, your hard to tell stories! Just keep on! Keep on interacting and most of all keep on building your portfolio!
After all this is basically your everything app all in one!
So why would you ever need anything else?
