This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
Friday has arrived, and I hope mushroom hunters and lovers can find beautiful and unique mushroom species every Friday.
And in today's issue of #FungiFriday I almost had a hard time finding the mushroom species even after I found it I had a hard time identifying the scientific name of this mushroom I found.
At first I thought the internet network in where I lived was being disrupted when I used the help of google lens to find out the scientific name of the type of fungus I found but I have tried several times but still haven't gotten the right results.
I'm a little disappointed with this because I don't just want my post to look cool by being able to include the scientific name of the type of mushroom I share. But I'm also curious because some of the types of mushrooms that I found can also be said to be rare, even this is the first time I've seen them, not all of them may be two types of mushrooms from the 3 types that I uploaded.
However, complaining is certainly not a solution. I'm still trying to figure out the scientific names of the 3 types of mushrooms that I uploaded today until I get a suitable name, and it's possible that I can also identify the name wrong because I'm not a mushroom expert either.
The 3 types of mushrooms that I uploaded are Crinipellis setipes, a type belonging to the Crinipellis family, then Oudemansiella a genus of fungi in the family Physalacriaceae, and Trametes versicolor or if in my area this mushroom is popular with the name "Kulat Bateung". Here are some photos:
