Happy fungifriday day and this is my contribution to #FungiFriday held by @ewkaw.
Welcome to the month of September, may this be the beginning of a month full of blessings for all hiveans friends and yesterday on the first day of september we had a slightly cloudy day with the sky covered with clouds from morning to evening and the sun was only slightly visible between the foggy cloud gaps.
And while waiting for lunch, I took a walk in the backyard to see the condition of some chili seeds that I planted a few days ago and my chilies seem to be growing so well and around a rotting coconut trunk in my backyard home, I found a pile of wild mushrooms growing so thickly.
They are a fungus Candolleomyces candolleanus which is a wild fungus that grows beautifully the humid environment of open scenic areas and this time I found it growing so well in the rotten coconut trunk environment in the backyard home.
The mushrooms are growing seems to have grown repeatedly during the last rainy season and I just found them this time and also some of them look like they are starting to rot.
These mushrooms have a stem and hat texture with a very soft surface and they are an amazing soft mushroom species.
And yesterday I found these mushrooms at the exact moment before they died from sunburn by being in the open environment and to see the beauty and elegance of that mushroom, I also took several angles of the mushroom in a close-up smartphone macrophotography shoot with an external lens.
