Did I say I like autumn? I probably did.... many times while complaining about summer heat. I love autumn! It's awesome!
And when you get good weather (= is not pissing) you just have to go and enjoy it without the heat and bugs.
And so I did :)
Four hours and many kilometers walking around the woods among leaves in all kinds of colours, the smell of wet grass and singing birds was very enjoyable. And I could walk more if it didn't start to get dark. I almost forgot how pretty this part of the forest is! Lass pine and more leafy trees made it just so colorful!
Yes, I did shoot mushrooms. It would have been weird if I didn't. And these little guys here were one of the last ones I found.
Under the bushes of wild-growing acacia, I spotted a pile of old broken branches and something white on them (no, it wasn't birds poop stuck).
I only saw the big ones. White, round circles in a pile of broken sticks were easy to spot.
But then I freed the little branch from the pile to check the underside. Some of the mushrooms that grow on them have a sponge-like texture; others have typical gills.
And look what I found! All these little burry ones were completely invisible to me. Trying to hold the stick in one hand and shoot with the other one (with Sima attached that is not the lightest lens) was a bit of a challenge. But you know what they say - woman gotta do, what a woman gotta do :)
A bit of yoga, a bit of screeching, and mission accomplished.
Let's try another stick and see what's there.
Boom! :D
We have some furry ones. Even smaller than the previous.
Did you spot the birds poop? :p
And the woods?
Here :)
