Good afternoon and good luck with your respective activities, this time I want to share a mushroom called orange head mushroom or with a scientific name, namely Mycena acicula. Alright, let's just follow the discussion first so that all of our friends can understand about these mushrooms.
Orange mushroom or better known as Mycena acicula is a mushroom with an orange head, the name of an orange head which means its petals are orange so that humans can understand it faster from the name of the type of mushroom, it is called the orange mushroom.
In my area the name of this mushroom is very much like the orange mushroom, orange headed mushroom, scaly mushroom and orange hairy mushroom, but people often refer to it by the name orange mushroom only. This mushroom is very rare and difficult to find because this mushroom is not just anywhere to grow, some of these mushrooms grow in the deepest corners of the forest. As in my picture I found it in a forest far from my home location, this fungus requires very fertile and moist soil to grow.
Some of these mushrooms grow straight up and some grow irregularly and even then depending on the place where they grow. The variety and shape of this mushroom is so perfect that it makes us interested in this mushroom, not only that this mushroom is a rare mushroom because this mushroom grows during the rainy season and its growth is not affordable for humans. Here are some pictures of these mushrooms and hopefully you can recognize them.
This fungus grows on very moist soil so this fungus requires a lot of water for its growth process, this fungus can be eaten by humans but not many humans also eat this mushroom because this fungus is rare and this mushroom has a very small size.
This mushroom has a height of about half an inch with the width of the petals about half an inch in diameter as well. This mushroom has the color of its petals or head which is orange, while the stem has a yellowish color and there are also scales on the stem of the mushroom. This mushroom has a different color when young to mature, when young this mushroom has a whitish color from the stem to the head.
If we want to eat the mushroom then we will need a very hard effort we have to look for it in remote corners of the forest and even then if we are lucky to meet it because we cannot find this mushroom in the markets, therefore this mushroom is difficult for humans to consume and even these mushrooms are not considered by the mushroom sellers in the market.
MUSHROOM LIGHT BUT NOT REAL MUSHROOM
To meet a challenge this Friday I also want to participate which is a mushroom but not a real mushroom this is just a lighting decoration tool for my room. This tool functions as a light to illuminate my room when I want to sleep, even though it looks like a mushroom this is just a lamp in the shape of a mushroom.
A lamp that looks like a mushroom is made of a plastic object that resembles the shape of a mushroom. You can get these decorative lights at your nearest shops, especially electronics stores. There are also many forms and variations, such as in my lamp, including having two mushrooms of the same color, having three types of leaves for decoration only and having one small light bulb consisting of various types of colors including yellow, red, white, Not only that, pink, green and blue lights can change color in about 1 minute.
The mushroom lamp does not have lighting like other lamps, this mushroom lamp can only illuminate your surroundings. The usefulness of the mushroom lamp is to illuminate it at night or rather while sleeping.
