Some of the pictures of mushrooms that I found are types of mushrooms that grow by taking advantage of the rating of an old tree to grow or to be used as a tool as a base so that it grows perfectly, not only that many mushrooms also grow on fertile soil, it can be said that mushrooms are a type of plant. growing in two places. If the fungus grows on the ground, then the soil must remain fertile and wet while the fungus that grows on the branches of an old tree, namely the twig must remain weathered, aka old and wet, even though the two types of mushrooms grow in two different places, but they are included into the usual types of mushrooms but only the place is different. Without further ado, let's just move on to the discussion about these mushrooms.
fungus Microporus
based on the explanation from Wikipedia, Microporus is a genus of fungi in the family Polyporaceae. The genus has a wide distribution and, according to 2008 estimates, contains 11 species.
Microporus fungus is a fungus that can grow in two places, namely on the ground and on tree branches. This mushroom has a relatively round shape and has many colors. This mushroom has a very long lifespan compared to other types of mushrooms, this mushroom can live more than one month to two months, this right because this mushroom is resistant to hot and cold weather. The rounded petals of this mushroom are very hard so that this mushroom can be called a durable mushroom.
Some species of these mushrooms can also grow on the ground but have different colors with my mushrooms. This fungus can grow by itself without human intervention, they can grow in all kinds of places and even this fungus is often infested by small insects such as beetles and ladybugs.
This mushroom can grow very large and in my picture this mushroom has the width of its petals which is about 4 cm in diameter with a height of about 2.5 cm. This mushroom has its own characteristics, namely the color contained in the petals consists of several colors, namely yellow, brown, white and orange, but the colors are curved along with the rounded petals.
This fungus can be found throughout Indonesia, especially in places where there are piles of wood, this is because they use tree branches as a base for growing them. In my area these mushrooms are not allowed to be eaten so they are often overlooked by humans.
