Hello mushroom hunting friends
Waiting for the rain to fall is not just for humans, but everything on this earth is waiting for the rain to come. The land and fields are starting to dry out, dust is everywhere making it very difficult to travel.I cannot withstand the clouds of dust floating on the roads, which means a long dry season is sweeping through our region. The trees are starting to wilt, sadly they cannot speak about what is happening on this earth; who knows, only God knows.Where should I go to hunt for mushroom species this week? However, even though the weather is in the dry season,I will try to find them. Whether they are still alive or not will be known later when I am in the bushes.
At first,I thought about where I should go to hunt for mushrooms.I looked around me and saw that the twigs were already dry and,at times, starting to wither. In my heart,I wondered if I would be able to find them today.I was quite confused that day; it is indeed very difficult during seasons like this when there are no mushroom species growing at all. Finally,I started searching in one of my neighbor's gardens.Fortunately, after exploring for a few minutes,I saw on one of the logs that had been burned a species of hard mushroom.Indeed,it was a blushing bracket,a type of hard-textured mushroom, struggling against the heat of the weather that was scorching its body. Its flesh was already fragile, just waiting for a few more days for this mushroom to wither away from the log.
On another day,of course,I found one of the other species of mushrooms that also has a hard texture. This species of mushroom is known as beefsteak mushroom, its very bright color stands out even in hot weather, but the characteristics of this mushroom species remain prominent. The fairly large size made me take several parts using my macro lens.I like the texture on the back of this mushroom, the small pores are very impressive to me,so I focused more on the pore area. Actually,I wanted to capture the whole part, but unfortunately my camera lens couldn't capture it in full.
In another corner,I was lucky to find one of the species of mushrooms, Coprinellus micaceus, also known as the mica cap mushroom,in the middle of summer. This species of mushroom is very rare to grow in summer, but when I was walking in my backyard and accidentally glanced towards a very narrow corner, this tiny mushroom was growing there. Generally, most of these mushroom species grow during heavy rainy seasons, however, I was delighted to have found it during this summer.Although it was growing alone, honestly, this mushroom still looked very fresh because I think sunlight did not touch the flesh of this mushroom.
this is my contribution to the #fungifriday community this week created and curated by @ewkaw
