I get excited whenever I see something that's macro photography potential. Especially if it's organic, like plants or insects. This morning, I went outside and saw tiny vivid yellow stuff growing out of the wooden chair that I forgot about. I knew I had to take photos of that! :D
I think this is my first time seeing this type of mushroom. According to my research, it might be the Dacryopinax Spathularia or Orange jelly fungus.
It grows on this wooden chair that I left outside. It's exposed to sunlight and rain so it eventually rot.
They're so tiny yet so vividly yellow-orange. It's a nice macro photo subject since you can also see the details of the rotting wood.
They look beautiful but disgusting at the same time lol. :P
The rotting wood looks like it's been burned, like charcoal.
That one at the bottom looks like a cat's tongue.
They look so pretty especially up close. Apparently they are edible and used as a medicine in Chinese culture. I personally won't eat it haha.
This reminds me of the game The Last of Us which is also is a TV series of the same title.
Nature is so poetic. Any thing that dies, something will grow out of it. It thrives even. Feeding from whatever dead stuff is in there. Good stuff to see in close-ups. :D
