How cute is this orange mushroom that I found? Surrounded by reindeer moss, pine needles and other vegetation. Its bright colour stood out and I could see it already from afar. The closer I got the more exciting it became. It found a perfect spot to grow, just outside of the thick forest (you can see in the background of the photos) on the edge of the marsh lands in this Nature Reserve. As you can see it is still very young and needs to grow a bit more. I'm sure it did exactly that in the next weeks, when I left. I found this mushroom on a beautiful and challenging walk in nature.
If you missed the walk itself in this Swedish forest 🌳 do have a look at my older post here: Västermarks Nature Reserve ~ STUNNING HIKING TRAIL in BOTSMARK ~ SWEDEN

The Photographs in this post are taken with my iPhone.
I will follow the time stamps on them. So it looks like you are experiencing my adventures on this walk 💃🏻 to discover everything what I saw. Like the little details seen through my eyes, and to discover all the mushrooms I found.
Let’s have a closer look at this cutie now.
I didn’t want to disturb it by removing the debris on its cap. So I left this setting exactly as I found it. It was so cute… if you look at the pine needles at its stem and around it, you can see it is a really small mushroom. That makes it even more cuter haha oh the romantic me haha
I captured from above this photo. Now I also see that the little mushroom has a little yellow friend. Do you see it?
A little yellow leaf 🍁 just in reach of each other so they can talk together into the long nights… such a beautiful autumnal scene.
Now I capture them both in my photographs. As they truly belong together. Both small and cute.
I zoom out a bit more to give them some distance… space. The moss underneath them and my feet is very soft.
I get the urge to take off my wet boots 🥾 and stand on the ground with my bare feet 🦶🏻 maybe next time when it is a bit warmer again and not this late in the afternoon, as the sun sets early this time of the year. You don’t want to be to deep in a thick forest with all the wildlife around here. As there are bear, lynx and 2 weeks ago I heard a lone wolf was roaming the woods.
Now back to the mushroom again ;) I was very happy to find this cutie in this beautiful setting. I said Bye bye to this cutie and his friend….
I have about 2 more fungi posts left to post from this forest walk. So stay tuned for the last set before I change to a new location. Where will I go next for fungi's… in this wide big world 🗺️
…and here I say that’s all for today’s post my friends.
