Good evening from where I am now, and greetings to the community owner and all community members wherever you are.
Today I'm trying to participate again in the #FungiFriday challenge hosted by @ewkaw every Friday in this community.
A few days ago, while I was in the garden cleaning up an abandoned area, I found some of these mushrooms. Yes, there are several species from several families, each with its own unique characteristics.
There is an orange mushroom that is still very small in size, it grows on decomposed animal feces, it is still very small and looks like it just grew last night.
This one is attached to a log in my garden. These are spore-forming mushrooms, with small cavities on the underside and a visible top. These mushrooms are hard and don't have stems; they simply stick together.
They look like tennis balls; I've seen them growing directly on the ground, but they also appear to be growing on top of animal waste. They're round, but some are not so round. The fine hairs on their bodies make them look pretty.
And the two varieties below are actually quite similar: one is bright orange and the other is creamy, whitish, and mixed with yellow. Both have a firm texture.
But this one is almost like a spore fungus, as the other side is porous. They also have a similarity in that they can survive hot weather. I found it growing on dead wood in the garden.
Thank you for stopping by and reading. I hope you all have a wonderful day and night.
