Quick Progress
The 2 autos in front, lived on a different balcony before, where they only got 3-4 hours of direct sunlight (balcony oriented to the west).
My balcony faces south. I get a good 8 hours of direct sunlight at this time of the year.
The increased light and transplanting them made the plants grow really quickly.
The last update was only 4 days ago:
Since these autos are sensitive to root-stress, I will transplant them again into larger pots within the next days.
The plants are 32 days old, and according to the seller, they should finish flowering within 63 days. (RQS 'Quick One')
While I don't quite believe that - I expect them to take a bit longer - I think I should have provided better lighting, earlier. These 2 plants are probably not at all going to grow as big as they could have.
While I am confident that I did well in restricting the size of the photoperiodic plant in the background by using small pots, it wasn't a good idea for the autos. The limited light also wasn't good. I kind of knew that, but did not act accordingly.
...lesson learned.
Anyways, they are gaining like crazy now and I am excited to watch them grow daily.
PS
Trying to post into the canna-curate community.
I haven't tried posting into a community for a long time - always had negative experiences/wasn't worth the hassle. Posts not showing up in my own blog and stuff... But maybe that's for another post....
