How's it going, Canna Fam? First of all, let me say Happy Easter and Happy 420! Secondly, welcome back to another update on my grow for this year!
If you missed last week's update, I have 4 different plants started and are now 23 days old. Keeping an eye on the days and weeks will be crucial since 2 of my plants are autoflowering, and should only take around 85 or 90 days from seed to harvest depending on how I want the trichomes.
I noticed some slight discoloration that was spreading in the autoflower plants, and after a little bit of research, I figured it was either a nitrogen or potassium deficiency in the soil. I decided to add a small bit of coffee grounds for nitrogen and a splash of banana water for a small potassium boost. Basically, I was just trying to cover my bases after looking at a mobile nutrient deficiency chart. (Shown below)

Other than the possible deficiency, both the Grape Gorilla Poison and the Novakane testers are looking really good in my opinion. The leaf growth looks good and even, so once I move them outside I think they will really thrive. I plan on putting them in 2 gallon grow bags to see how they do, but I'm not really sure if I want to do that or just put them straight in the ground.
The spots on the Lemon Kush were a result of getting some of the banana water splashing on it unfortunately, but thankfully it's only the water leaves, which should fall off at some point anyways so I don't think it will affect them much.
The Northern Lights x Perfect Circle tester is looking OK for the most part, but definitely isn't growing at the same rate as the Lemon Kush. This really isn't an issue, just something I feel like I should note looking forward.
Other than that, I watered them a few times throughout the week, just trying to keep the soil moist without overwatering them. Nothing special happened, but I've been keeping them at a 14/10 light cycle for now, with the light coming on at 6 am and turning off at 8 pm daily, but I will be putting them outside very soon!
Honestly, I still have a lot of work left to do in the garden, so hopefully I'll have that done and ready to move the girls out by the end of the week. Thanks for tuning in, and I hope you see you on the next one!
