I once watched a movie many many years ago but I can't recall its title at the moment. This movie was a top rated movie along with other movies like home alone and baby's day out. If you have seen these movies I mentioned,then you should know how far back the movie I watched was. In the movie, a man divorced from his wife wanted to spend the Christmas season with his kids from his ex-wife and also flaunt the wealth of his new wife. He invited them over and allowed his new wife chaperone his kids round the house.
The first thing that the new wife did when they entered the house was to talk to the house. I mean like she gave a command to the house and it obeyed. Her step kids had never seen anything like that and so they were amazed. She continued issuing commands to her "smart house" and it obeyed. She would say "Sara switch on the lights" and the lights automatically turned on. The house could do virtually everything from switching on the lights, playing songs to even putting on a gas stove. It was a beautiful movie experience and it made me immediately wish to have such in future because it was cool.
A recent cool smart device I saw
I also watched a k-drama series earlier this year and I saw a device that seemed pretty cool. This device can clean the entire house. It is able to vacuum and mop the floors clean as well. In the movie, the device was called "cleaning bot" and I feel that the name fits. Going online to check out the device, I discovered that it is an S10 smart cleaning robot with dual function of vacuuming and mopping the floors.
This is a cool smart device I would love tio have in my house as it would take care of my cleaning chores for me. Sweeping and mopping thw floors everyday can become quite tiring but with this smart device, all I need is to turn it on and allow it to do its job of cleaning. As long as. It is charged, it would go on cleaning the floors for a long time.
Having this smart device would save me time and energy previously used in cleaning the floors in my house and before somebody will say "Are you not a woman, cleaning is part of your responsibility". "Abeg who made that rule?" Secondly "is there any crime in making use of technological advantages available in this era?"
As for me, I cannot kill myself by myself. I run a tight ship everyday and sometimes chores like this are left till I'm back or I assign a young one to do it for me which would usually attract a form of tip from my pocket. This smart cleaning bot will do the job and not collect any form of tip or allowance from me, saving me time, energy and money. What a soft life 😁
