I know that I brag quite a lot about some of these things, but it's not a lie when I say that I am well organized. My space is clean and free, and my thoughts are well thought through and even compartmentalized and my digital space? It's just as well put in check.
"You'll delete and delete, and one day, you'll delete something very important which you may never be able to recover..."
One of my friends ssy this to me all the time. Even today. I'm one to clear out things as they come. Things I find no interest in. I'm one to select all and delete group messages or filter through important ones and clear the rest. Even my notifications are not left out. I loath seeing too much floating around on my home and lock-screen. It's disconcerting and sort of an eyesore to me, so I'm always swiping them off. Also, I don't let permissions to send me notifications from apps that I otherwise have little use for. I just let in the important stuff. Only.
With emails, I sort of struggled a lot as I used to just ignore them, and, once, they piled up so much, I had a difficult time sorting through for very important mails. Ever since, I have run an almost weekly, if not daily, mail clearing. There's no having to deal with hundreds of emails for so long since now, I did some nice organization of that space to help me reach stuff easier.
I do decluttering a whole lot. Every single day. I did sone today. From my gallery to my sms messages and to everything else. There's a new, calming height of peace that comes with decluttering. Like a lightness.
I really do not have a way that I navigate or keep my digital space looking organized and giving me just the clear and defined aesthetics and feel that I like other than that I take things on as they come. I attend to notifications and emails and messages and whatnot almost immediately and as soon as I see them. It's a lot easier for me than letting anything pile up. I just declutter.
