“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” This is Clark’s third law. In my eyes, technology is metaphorically magic. I like it a lot and I often read and inform myself about the subject. But phenomena such as simple electrical energy are something very curious. It can have properties attributable to the realm of the esoteric. Science in general is difficult to understand, almost magical. But technology has the particularity of manipulating that nature for a specific purpose. But they are still just things that were already there. A battery, made of lithium and even the uranium of a nuclear reactor are elements extracted from the earth. Then a titanic task begins. First of understanding, then of manipulation to finally generate a creation. An invention capable of revolutionizing the known world.
In this regard, I admit that I am not surprised by current technologies. Except for AI, everything else is an evolution of the same. Computers and phones are just faster, cameras with better definition. All to be expected… So far, robotics is still not at a stage that generates greater interest for me. Cars, the last time I looked, still had people driving. Driving on bumpy streets. In cars that look like they're from another decade. However, I don't lose my faith in technology. Humanity… Well, that's another topic.
Still, I look forward to the massification of artificial intelligence. This can be interesting and chaotic. The new generation of technology with AI included seems interesting. Having access to these devices at the user level will generate a reduction in the costs of AI services. Today, their cost is still high, logical due to the hardware capabilities required. Corporations do not do charity, if they let you use it, it is because of the feedback and free training.
But why is technology stagnant? As I see it, we have enormous deficiencies in the storage and production of energy. This is why the consumption of all devices has been reduced for years. Let's not believe that corporations thought about the environmental impact. If they thought about the environmental impact, they would not make disposable scrap with planned obsolescence. I think that the next interesting technology that we are going to experience is holography and light projection. China has been researching and producing light, LED and laser technology. The manufacturing of new photolithography machines is a strategic area where China is obtaining good results. So as a collateral, everything that involves projections and efficiency in holograms is possible.

I also welcome Elon Musk's great advances in reusable rockets. Seeing them is simply amazing. I hate Elon Musk, but I think he made a more than interesting contribution in this area. Although it is different for the new space travel technologies. There are only theories. For now we are propelled through the cosmos like Neanderthals with a campfire. Although it makes sense, we are investing our collective efforts in making weapons. The most efficient and destructive possible. I do not want to be unfair, not only are weapons being researched, defensive shields are also being made.
However, the most powerful and revolutionary technology I used is undoubtedly the Blockchain. A potential way to put the system in check. Although there is still a long way to go and the big players in the world of finance have already entered the game. They began to manipulate and fight for the hegemony of a free Blockchain. But I think that spaces like Hive are great rivals to destroy this hegemony. I hope that the public begins to be aware of its power as a consumer. The Blockchain is a space capable of generating a free and transparent system, but its adoption may take time. It is our duty as users to start talking about all the advantages of escaping from old technologies. They have the consumer captive, unable to see a better world.
Many times it is not the big companies that bring the revolutions. Maybe there is a madman or a group of madmen in a garage generating the revolution of our time.
Maybe we are that group of madmen. I hope we are up to the task.
Thanks for reading me, friends! I hope I haven't gone off topic, or been cynical. Maybe I've gone a bit off topic. Tell me in your comments!
