On this special day, I was scrolling through my Facebook and I saw an advert that really attracted me to a phone so I decided to check the Facebook market place and guess what, I saw an iPhone 13 pro max quite cheaper than my budget and then decided to go for it and give it a trial not knowing its a setup.
The Next morning, I called the number and, the person spoke really calmly to me. I felt confused that this person must be really good and mature, so we did a video call on the phone, and we both picked a place to meet at Computer Village. In my state, there is a place we call Computer Village where we get to buy other gadgets and home appliances; there is no gadget we are looking for that we can't find here.
One of the major reasons I preferred to meet with this buyer was because we planned to swap my Samsung s22plus and its broken screen with a price of # 200,000 to get the iPhone 13 pro max, the Samsung was already getting weak and the screen price was quite expensive so I thought it was a fair trade.
On that day we met, I checked the phone and saw it was exactly an iPhone so I decided to conclude with him, unfortunately, this seller happened to be a fraud, the mistake I made back then was to allow him to put the phone back into his pocket and agreed with him fastly because I thought he was rushing to work. I asked him if this phone was his own. He said yes and showed me some of his pictures on it. I felt relieved; unfortunately for me, he had a phone in his pocket that looked exactly like this iPhone 13, but it was Android. After I paid him money and dropped my phone, he acted like he was rushing back to work when I collected the phone, a guy was distracted by holding something that belonged to him that was how I argued on the road for 2 minutes till when the guy leaves, and when I On the phone I got really angry it was an android instead of the iPhone.
I was moving around the street for 8 hours. I did not just lose my phone but also lost my money along with it, which happens to be very painful. I regret I should have left for the other buyer instead, but I felt it was cheaper with the buy than the others. That day, I could not sleep; I felt really pained. If he had taken the money alone, it would still be preferable, but that phone he stole was also worth a lot.
I still regret it now, which is why I can never buy any digital tools from an unlicensed seller because most of them are frauds, and they can't be traced back. The only thing I did for my Samsung was to block it so nobody can access it but the truth is a Loss, it's not like I have it at the moment now, it's gone already I just have to keep moving, but honestly if I see this guy outside, It's not going to be funny.
Till date, i still feel this pain os this loss but i just have to keep moving and aiming for my bigger dreams, a loss is a loss and its gone already.
