Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're doing well. This is quite an interesting question. The question is, if I were to start a company, would I hire AI or humans? Actually, some time ago, I was thinking about starting a small project, but I'd do it for two or three years. It's based on something I love: photography and video.
I started this on Shutterstock, where I started learning about photography and video, uploading them, and evaluating them. A Shutterstock portfolio is a benchmark for whether my photos are worth selling or not, or whether they're being retouched. I started that two years ago. I have big dreams. Today, I have 1,600 portfolios, and most of them are photos.
In the next two years, I want to grow this even bigger. I want to start a media agency, producing videos and photos for advertising and other purposes. I've been thinking about whether I'll hire people. Of course, for the photography part, I need to hire people. Videography and videography.
That part is unchangeable. There's the latest technology for producing photos with AI, but it's going to feel different. So, I'll hire people to take photos and videos, then edit them. I'll probably hire two or three people for my media agency.
I have a small community, and I'll empower them to become my employees who understand photography, video, and editing. I'll empower my community. Do I need AI for this?
Of course I need AI. I'll probably meet a lot of people and have meetings with a lot of people. And of course, I'll need an assistant. I might use this assistant as my personal assistant to remind me of my daily schedule, organize documents, and take notes.
Technology is evolving, so we need a collaboration between human and technological work. Otherwise, we'll be overwhelmed. Technology with AI reduces or even cuts costs. That's all I can tell you. What do you think? Is it the same as I think?
