Nowadays, Streaming is Better

Talking about music, everyone must have their own way to stay connected with the music, games, and movies they like. The advancement of technology nowadays also plays a role in this convenience. If I flashback to when digital products first entered my teenage world. After the era of cassettes and CDs, music appeared on cellphones and computers. At that time, YouTube was not as easy to access as it is now because of the lack of internet speed. So one way to stay connected with the music we like is by downloading it. If one of our friends has downloaded it, we will ask them to send it to us via Bluetooth and infrared. That era was really challenging in my opinion, because transferring music files certainly takes quite a long time. I used to download every song I liked into a special memory, but now that memory can't be played and I have given up on all forms of downloading.

Time passes and now I have moved to a city where the internet speed is better than my hometown, I prefer to stream. If it concerns music and movies. I rarely listen to music, I will do that if I am on duty, then I will listen to music through YouTube—with all the ads that appear because I am reluctant to subscribe. I do not subscribe to a music application because I rarely listen to music. If it is on the road, I usually prefer to sleep or read a book, because if I stream it will drain my phone battery quickly. So I do not stream when I am on the road. The point is, I rarely listen to music.

Unlike movies, I certainly prefer to stream. I have subscribed to wifi at home so there is no reason to download the movies I want to watch because it will fill up my phone space. I also do not want to leave personal traces on the laptop that is provided as an office facility, so I prefer to stream on Netflix.

Besides, with streaming I can resume and stop watching at will. For example, if I don’t really like the plot, I can leave the movie midway without feeling guilty—if you download it, you might feel guilty so that you willy nilly watch it even though you don’t like the movie. On the other hand, if we look at the details of a movie on Netflix, you will be recommended similar movies, so it will be a fun streaming journey.
