I know I haven't been blogging everyday, but I have some pretty exciting updates with some collaborations that we have been doing with some friends who run the Museo El Tesoro. We found a new educational tool called pixton. This tool pushes the level of artistic possibilities when it comes to educational content, especially as the students are encouraged to create their own graphic novels.
I was able to support this effort with $99 dollars to upgrade the whole rural school to 'pro' version. That's right this school was held back from this great program for lack of just $99 dollars, and now more than 80 students will have access to this tool and all it has to offer.
Of course it is easy to get disillusioned by the state of the world, but in a sense it is a perennial need to fix up the state of our world, add our grain of sand, and do what humans do and improve the use of our tools for better results in the real world.
Creating webcomics could be a level of communication very useful to explain certain topics, or develop certain lines of thought and creativity. Of course, by nature some level of humor is probably required. You can be the judge if my first comic complies or not 😅 As a meta joke, I was searching to add some birds but the program only has cats dogs and bunnies at the time being. But it does allow us to add our own images, so I think it will still be an incredibly powerful tool.

In the days to come, I will be integrating our Online Arqueology Project as well as Colegio el Tesoro Pixton content into the @quintaesencia account.
Follow @quintaesencia for spanish language content that supports sustainable rural development in our region of Colombia.
