MMy dad was a good man in many ways, since I was a child I was his darling, he taught me to read, add and subtract before I started my first school years.
For years he protected me as I grew, obviously with discipline and the occasional shout, but he did everything for love and so that I could be a great woman.
It's been 7 years since he left, and it seems like a lie but I still cry as soon as I talk about him or think about him, and I even do it while I write these lines... excuse me😔😭.
My father was a healthy, strong, happy man, he liked to have a few glasses of whiskey when he felt happy and share it with the family.
One day he felt bad eyesight and when he took him to the doctor, he was diagnosed with Glaucoma. As I studied human medicine, but I did not graduate, I knew the complications and consequences of this disease if it was not well treated.
Mi papá fue un buen hombre en muchos sentidos, desde niña fui su consentida, él me enseñó a leer, sumar y restar antes de comenzar mis primeras etapas escolares.
Durante años me protegió mientras crecía, obviamente con disciplina y algún que otro grito, pero todo lo hizo por amor y para que yo pudiera ser una gran mujer.
Han pasado 7 años desde que se fue, y parece mentira pero todavía lloro en cuanto hablo de él o pienso en él, e incluso lo hago mientras escribo estas líneas… discúlpenme 😔😭.
Mi padre era un hombre sano, fuerte, feliz, le gustaba tomar unos vasos de whisky cuando se sentía feliz y compartirlo con la familia.
Un día sintió mal de la vista y cuando lo llevó al médico le diagnosticaron Glaucoma. Como estudié medicina humana, pero no me gradué, conocía las complicaciones y consecuencias de esta enfermedad si no se trataba bien.
For about two years, everything was going well, until due to the disastrous economic situation in which Venezuela fell, medicines became scarce, including the drops that my father used, as a result, in a few months he completely lost his sight, he went from being a strong, independent man, to be totally dependent and more on me, since he was the only one I trusted even to bathe and feed him, they were hard months for everyone... my dad's conditions worsened, until one day with extreme calmly he told me, daughter I don't want to live like this anymore, I'm a burden for you and everyone. Obviously it wasn't, at least not for me, I still love my father immensely, the only man who in my entire life has truly loved me, for days he stopped wanting to eat, little by little he lost consciousness, he gave himself up to death, and every day he said goodbye a little, on December 9, 2017, 2.30am his heart stopped beating and with it, half of mine.💔 🖤
True, life goes on but that emptiness at the table, in the house, will always, always be weighty.
Por unos dos años, todo iba bien, hasta que por la nefasta situación económica en la que cayó Venezuela, los medicamentos se escasearon, entre ellos las gotas que mi papá usaba, resultado en pocos meses perdió por completo la vista, pasó de ser un hombre fuerte, independiente, a ser dependiente total y más de mi, ya que era en al única que confiaba hasta para que lo bañara y alimentara, fueron meses duros para todos.. las condiciones de mi papá empeoraron, hasta que una día con suma calma me dijo, hija ya no quiero vivir así, soy una carga para ti y todos. Obvio que no lo era, por lo menos no para mi, amo inmensamente aún a mi padre, el único hombre que en toda mi vida realmente me ha amado, por días dejó de querer comer, poco a poco fue perdiendo consciencia, se entregó a la muerte, y todos los días se iba despidiendo un poco, un 09 de diciembre del 2017, 2.30am su corazón dejó de latir y con el, la mitad del mío.💔🖤
Cierto la vida continua pero ese vacío en la mesa, en la casa, siempre pero siempre hará peso.
My dad was my champion, as I told him. Losing a parent is painful, and even more so if they were beings who loved you and supported you as my father did with all his children, especially me. He would have given his life for me, and I daily asked God to give him a little vision in his eyes, to take it from mine, but that's destiny. I thank GOD for giving me the father I had and the mother I have... I love them and I will love them until the end of the world ❤️ 💞 💞
Mi papá era mi campeón, como yo le decía. Perder un padre es doloroso, y mas si fueron seres que te amaron y proyegieron como lo hizo mi padre con todos sus hijos, en especial conmigo. El habría dado su vida por mi, y yo pedía a diario a Dios le diera un poco de visión a sus ojos, que la tomara de los míos , pero el destino es asi. Agradezco a la vida a DIOS por haberme dado el padre que tuve y la madre que tengo..los amo y amaré hasta el fin del mundo.❤️💞💞
