My 9-month-old Naomi ♥️
Celebrated her first Christmas and will be celebrating her first CNY with us soon. Very active and resists sleep a lot these days, cos maybe she is set to practise her standing, even in the middle of the night like 4am. Often wakes up in the night and if I lock my eyes with her, she would smile and stay awake for maybe another 1 to 2 hours, hence why I am like a panda these days. One thing that often shocks me in the night is the moment when I open my eyes to check on her, there is a pair of big beautiful eyes already opened looking back at me, as if she has been waiting for me to open mine. Oh yeah she still smiles in her sleep, which I love to watch too.
She claps her hands, say "baba" and pulls herself up to stand and sometimes lets go her hands for some seconds before she falls on her bum. Today she smiled at the nurse after her injection after I carried her up to soothe her cry. No increase in weight this month but some increase in the height. Laughs much more when we kacau her or when her xiaoge asks her, "Are you a chicken?" She chats the most with xiaoge in her own language. Oh yeah, she can also twist her tongue easily and always does it, just like daddy and her eldest brother can do it.
So yeah, she has been very busy crawling everywhere and is showing some separation anxiety because she will show she wants me when I get back home. Sometimes she would make sounds like singing for herself to sleep.
Oh my, just 3 more months to 1 year old. Time really flies with this little one ♥️ My pleasure to see her grow yet sometimes I wish time can slow down too for me to savour every moment with her.

I felt I have been through a whirlwind of mental load, physical load and sleepless nights but she is well worth it. She is going to be longer out in the world than her duration in my womb soon. Wow!
