Un café y una comida ligera para una conversación difícil
Hi! Coffe lovers les saludo con emoción, porque más allá de contarles sobre un lindo coffee shop que conocí, hay algo más delicado que tiene que ver con la circunstancia en que lo conocí.

En esta ocasión, más que para socializar, realmente se trató de una conversación profunda en una cafetería.
Siempre tengo la esperanza de que todo o casi todo se puede resolver con un rico café caliente de por medio, de tal forma que en una oportunidad en que mi esposo y yo tuvimos problemas de pareja por temas domésticos que ya me tenían muy preocupada, me preparé para entablar una conversación que tuviera como resultado que resolviéramos el problema en feliz término
La expectativa de esa conversación me tenía muy nerviosa, porque realmente mi esposo había estado de muy mal humor los últimos días y yo también me encontraba con el estado de ánimo alterado, así que incluso busqué ayuda para tener mejores herramientas para afrontar esto.
Literalmente busqué ayuda porque tuve una sesión con una coach personal para que por medio de la programación neolingüística mi comunicación con mi esposo propiciara que él estuviera abierto y dispuesto a seguir adelante como antes o incluso mejor.
Escoger la cafetería
La primera recomendación era acordar llevar esta conversación a un lugar neutral donde nos sintiéramos cómodos, allí fue donde se me ocurrió que un coffee shop sería lo ideal y tomar un café reconfortante y que nos proporcionase valor y seguridad, esto último es un juicio mío, pero quizá muchos lo compartan. El solo hecho de sostener una taza caliente entre las manos alivia cualquier ansiedad.
Él me había hablado de un lugar en el que una vez tuvo una reunión y que le había gustado mucho y quería llevar un día a la familia, le propuse que podría mostrármelo, ya que yo quería hablar con, puesto que no me sentía bien.
Café Granier
El lugar es la sucursal de Café Granier de la Urbanización Santa Mónica de Caracas, me gustó que como el lugar es grande, con áreas al aire libre y otras en salon cerrado, al ser espacioso las mesas están bien separadas unas de otras y se puede conversar con gran privacidad.
La atención fue eficiente, no hasta el punto de ser esmerada, pero sí me sentí bien atendida. Tienen menú digital y menú de mano, han de notar que en las dos versiones el menú no tiene los precios de los productos, eso me incomoda porque no tengo para gastar ciegamente y es realmente incómodo preguntar por cada cosa que llama mi atención. De hecho, no publicar los precios incumple la ley nacional, pero bueno. Como en principio se trataba solo de un café comencé por un mocaccino sin preguntar más.
Lo más atractivo
El café estuvo como esperaba, muy bueno realmente, aunque no soy experta. Debo decir muy contenta que todo funcionó. La conversación difícil tuvo lugar y finalizó con sonrisas en nuestros rostros, como el tiempo se alargó, seguidamente probamos un té matcha, sobre este té no puedo decir que sea delicioso, pero me gusta tomarlo y me hace sentir bien.
Para celebrar quisimos compartir algo de comer, algo fresco y ligero y pedimos una ensalada con salmón ahumado que realmente disfrutamos mucho en medio de una conversación más amena, alegre y llena de ilusiones.
Estoy segura de que vamos a volver a esta cafetería porque queda en una localidad donde a veces frecuentamos por alguna diligencia y resultó muy agradable, además siempre nos traerá buenos recuerdos de un café, y una comida ligera para una conversación difícil.

On this occasion, more than to socialize, it was really a deep conversation in a cafeteria.
I always have the hope that everything or almost everything can be resolved with a rich hot coffee in the middle, so that on an occasion when my husband and I had couple problems with domestic issues that already had me very worried, I prepared to start a conversation that would result in us resolving the problem in a happy way
The expectation of that conversation had me very nervous, because my husband had really been in a very bad mood the last few days and I was also in an altered state of mind, so I even sought help to have better tools to face this.
I literally sought help because I had a session with a personal coach so that through NLP programming my communication with my husband would make him open and willing to move forward as before or even better.
Choosing the cafeteria
The first recommendation was to agree to take this conversation to a neutral place where we would feel comfortable, that's where it occurred to me that a coffee shop would be ideal and take a comforting coffee that would give us value and security, the latter is my judgment, but maybe many share it. Just holding a hot cup in your hands relieves any anxiety.
He had told me about a place where he once had a meeting and that he liked it very much and wanted to take the family there one day, I suggested that he could show it to me, since I wanted to talk to him, because I didn't feel well.
Granier Coffe Shop
The place is the Café Granier branch in the Santa Mónica Urbanization in Caracas, I liked that since the place is large, with outdoor areas and others in a closed salon, being spacious the tables are well separated from each other and you can talk with great privacy.
The service was efficient, not to the point of being meticulous, but I did feel well attended. They have a digital menu and a paper menu, you should note that in both versions the menu does not have the prices of the products, that bothers me because I don't have to spend blindly and it is really uncomfortable to ask for each thing that catches my attention. In fact, not publishing the prices violates national law, but whatever. As it was only coffee at first, I started with a mocha without asking any more.
The most attractive
The coffee was as expected, really good, although I'm not an expert. I must say I'm really happy that everything worked out. The difficult conversation took place and ended with smiles on our faces, as time went on, we then tried a matcha tea, on this tea I can't say it's delicious, but I like to drink it and it makes me feel good.
To celebrate we wanted to share some food, something fresh and light, so we ordered a salad with smoked salmon that we really enjoyed in the middle of a more friendly, cheerful and hopeful conversation.
I'm sure we'll go back to this café because it's in a locality where we sometimes go for some errand and it was very pleasant, also it will always bring us good memories of a coffee, and a light meal for a difficult conversation.
