The cold air that surrounded her was unreasonably hot as she chuckled darkly. "What a mess," she grimaced. "My temperature is acting out too?" She questioned the air that surrounded her.
Tracy's phone notification sounded when a message came in and her wallpaper made her gasp. The picture she saw shook her and she burst into tears.
"Mummy, be home early, I have a surprise for you." She heard a voice whisper but there was no voice, because the voice is no more.
Her little pumpkin is gone. Her baby died when a car hit him on his back from school and she couldn't save him when he was brought to the hospital where she worked.
"I killed him!" Tracy screamed, holding her head.
Now, all she has is coffee to drown her worries since her husband Jake left her after the incident. She wouldn't blame him, she was a mess and still is and she would have left herself too if it was possible.
Standing up from her bed, she walked like a zombie to the kitchen to make more coffee.
Yawning briefly, she opened the coffee package she recently bought. With a tired eye, she poured the content into her coffee pot to brew it but was taken aback when she saw the paper that popped out.
Really? Has my messed up life been sent to the coffee world too? She asked with a tearful face.
Picking up the paper, she opened it to see what was written in it. The fine scattered words read;
"Help me! I have been stuck in this factory for decades."
Sighing deeply, she opened her eyes and cleaned it to see if her eyes were playing a trick with her but the words in the paper didn't fade off.
"Oh, no, no, no, is a child in trouble?" She asked no one. Running toward her room, she dressed up and held the paper tightly to do exactly what popped up in her mind.
"Errm, ma'am, are you sure you are alright?" The policeman asked in concern.
"I am fine officer, this person must be in trouble. We have to find out!" She spoke in a breathless tone.
With a sigh, the policeman spoke;
"I can't say I truly understand how you feel after your son's incident, you must be truly devastat..."
"But what?" Tracy said, cutting the officer off. "This is not about my son officer, this is about what this note and what it says. I am not insane, I know what I saw." Tracy added.
"I know ma'am, but I will advise you to see the doctor, you look..."
"Can I have the note back please?" She asked to cut the officer's statement off once again.
Shaking his head, the officer returned the piece of paper back to her as she walked off.
On getting home, Tracy couldn't help the tugging in her heart. Picking up the package, Tracy sat down on her kitchen counter as she tried to narrow down where the individual may be. She sat down for hours as she tried to see how the paper got to be in the package. She noticed the texture of the paper and knew it was an old one.
Picking up her car key, she decided to visit the company's coffee to find out. Driving off she sped toward her new destination with only the moonlight her guardian.
Tracy packed her car a few meters away from where the company is situated as she tiptoed round the back of the company fence.
Squatting, she monitored the Cctv camera before jumping into the building. Her legs moved swiftly as she made her way to the back door. Straightening her body she circled round putting her ears on the wall until the sound of whimpering stopped her movement.
Pressing her body on the wall, Tracy fell into what seemed like a hole where she saw thousands of people sleeping on the cold floor. Her body stood rigid as her hands found her phone subconsciously dialing 911.
"911, how may we help you?" A sweet voice came through as Tracy voice cracked as she said the word;
"Help".

The words of the news reporter were lost as Tracy stood in the shower watching how the water cascaded down her body.
"I want you to be happy Mom, I am now an angel who will watch over you." She heard a voice say calmly into her ears and she couldn't help but break down in more tears hearing a son's voice.
