Once upon a time there was a kingdom of teabags, who dreamed of bringing tranquility and relaxation to anyone who drank a cup of their ancient liquid. In the kingdom there was a beautiful white teapot with pink flowers that had magical powers and adorned the center of the tea castle.
The tea bags had long been at war with the evil coffee beans. The princess was very annoyed with these haters who always ruined her kingdom's festivities with espresso, latte and mocha bombardments.
Meanwhile in the coffee kingdom, the beans dreamed of energizing and activating everyone who drank their precious and millenary liquid.
They were two different kingdoms with the same aspiration: to be the world's favorite beverage. The prince of coffee beans was a noble and wise bean. He was tired of the attacks of the evil teabag princess. That afternoon he decided to go and put an end to the war by finishing off the princess of the enemy kingdom. So he camouflaged himself among the soldiers and went into combat.
His goal was clear, to climb the tower of the tea castle and finish off the princess. When he had the chance, he climbed the tower with a ladder and just as his troops were bombarding the green tea city, the coffee bean prince fell on the balcony of the tea bag princess' room. Hearing a noise she rushed out and found herself face to face with her enemy.
Her chamomile-colored eyes stared at the small, roasted, delicious-smelling bean. The teabag stood motionless as her hands trembled and her breathing was agitated.
The coffee bean didn't know whether to jump over the balcony railing or freeze. But when he focused on the teabag his eyes did not want to take his eyes off such a beautiful creation. The sweet smell of strawberries coming from the teabag caught him and he began to slowly approach it.
They talked for hours about how much their people were suffering from this absurd war. It was good night and the battle between tea and coffee was raging. It was sad to see how they were wasting valuable time on these bombings.
The clock bells rang, announcing midnight and the arrival of Christmas. The coffee bean remembered that the troops were coming to bombard the tea castle and rushed out leaving a trail of coffee all over the teapot.
The princess shouted at it to wait, to stay a little longer, but the little bean disappeared and left only a trail of coffee.
Both princes stopped the bombing that day and dedicated themselves, in secret, to find a way to put an end to the war. The princess took a sample of the coffee left by the prince and asked her guards to search for the trace of this coffee bean. While the coffee prince discussed truce strategies with the old beans to put an end to the war.
Not a minute passed without the coffee prince thinking of the precious teabag. And the teabag sighed, wondering who would be the brave, noble and wise coffee bean that was stealing his thoughts.
By the morning of December 31, the teabag's spy guard arrived with the news that his mysterious visitor was the coffee prince himself.
The teabag blushed and thought he was facing the leader of the enemy kingdom all along. She ran off to talk to the magic teapot and asked her what she should do if at midnight that day the great battle between the two kingdoms was planned.
The magic teapot called for a meeting under the white flag of both kingdoms and both teabags and coffee beans attended the meeting. No one was missing. The princes were each on the side of their side but eager to run off and take refuge in each other's arms.
The teapot spoke and silence reigned in the place. He asked for peace between the two kingdoms and the possibility of living together in peace in the same kingdom. The elders on both sides protested and said it was an unacceptable decision, but the teapot told them that they now had a reason and it was love.
Just as the chimes of midnight and the announcement of the new year rang out the teabag joined its beloved coffee bean and they both said peace and union. As the teapot declared them united forever.
And that was how the war came to an end, coffee and tea happily share snack time all over the world and lived happily ever after.
