The Best of the Beanies, in no particular order - they were all so good!
An Un-Boxing Day by @samsmith1971

I stared at the mountain of boxes in my new living room. I had no idea where to start. I hadn't packed them. Diego, who seemed regretful and apologetic for his sudden need for space in our relationship, had taken it upon himself to arrange the entire move. He had said since it was his fault, that he should shoulder the responsibility. Still, this was going to take a lot more out of me than I had expected. I sighed. I needed coffee. A lot of it!
Letting You Go by @neruel

My hands simply tremble at the memory of her. The coffee cup has fallen, it is broken into a thousand pieces, and the coffee that was bitter, now scattered on the floor as if it had no value, as well as this pungent feeling that a strange man feels. "Frustration?" Maybe at this instant of time I feel so weak.

Ledi brewed a hot pot of coffee that she had found in the kitchen cabinet. Simmering in the taste and sweet sensation of her coffee, a black box caught Ledi’s eyes. She picked it up and opened it. It was a photo album of a family she had never seen before.
The discussion by @jetta.amaya

Michael tried to be sensible, he understood that in the last year, he had spent thousands of dollars on trips and exotic coffee products, this had generated a strong discomfort in the relationship because although together with Marco they had proposed to raise the money to buy a house, he had spent it all unscrupulously. But deep down he felt that nothing justified her boyfriend's request, asking him to give up coffee made no sense.
A mistake that almost ended in disaster by @gabrieladifazio

The sound of the coffee pot gave her a sense of comfort because although it would be a huge job to unpack so many boxes, she would have a good cup of black coffee, just the way she liked it, and that made her feel better. But thinking precisely about the amount of boxes while she poured the coffee in her cup made her ask herself how had she accumulated so many things if she followed a minimalist lifestyle?
A Very Crazy Mistake by @universoperdido

"Wait, it must be one of those modern coffee makers with built-in power." Dave insisted. I was already annoyed, but in the end, my friend found a similar compartment where coffee is placed to be brewed. "Did you see? Now let's put some coffee in and get it going."
Coffee, cats and dogs - A movers' mess! by @simplifylife

As the beautiful aroma of the coffee started to spread, all of my boxes started to move on the spot first. Then they started to bark and mew. What the f... I quickly walked over to the boxes and opened one up. To my horror, inside was a cage with two cats! I think I should mention here that I do not own any pets of any kind. I dislike pet animals, birds are fine. So you can imagine the shock when I found a cage with two cats in it in one of my boxes.
Just Fine by @deraaa

My cup beckons me and I respond, letting the flavor and bitterness of its content sooth my grogginess. The day suddenly looks brighter from where I stand. This is what my husband wants me to give up? His eyes are still on me by the time I drop the cup but he quickly averts them when I gaze back at him. There’s a faint blush on his cheeks.

I opened the second box and my heart stopped. It held the exact Jihong Ming vase I bought weeks ago. I gripped my hair and twisted it in frustration. I gulped some coffee and tried to concentrate. I stood up hastily to call the delivery company and knocked over my mug, spilling coffee on the floor. "Shit!"
Dreaming, Saving, and Cafe Sa Bukid by @pinkchic

I smiled uncomfortably when my partner decided I had to give up coffee to save enough money to buy a house. And I was starting to wish that I had never heard his words. He checked our bank accounts and gave me a disappointed smile. I had fumbled for words. How can we do it? I wondered if I could live without coffee, but the situation was hard enough.
