Hello coffee lovers, my quest to find a good coffee in El Hatillo continues. This time I went to Dulces Criollos, because where there are sweets there is always coffee and these are two things I love.
The town of Hatillo stands out for the beauty of its locality, the colonial houses have been maintained with their characteristic wooden doors and huge windows with red roofs, I moved here 6 months ago and I still have not found that place with that special coffee to enjoy, I hope to find it because the town of Hatillo has become a gastronomic parish with more than 50 restaurants and locals.
I remembered Dulces Criollos as the place where you could really find Venezuelan sweets, but sadly it has lost its essence, its counter is only full of cakes and the most creole that there is is the Torta de Pan and Torta tres leches, for example you can now find Dulces Criollos Torta de ahuyama (pumpkin), there is no dulce de lechosa (papaya), nor coconut kisses, it is no longer the place I remembered, they even remodeled the place to expand it a little bit.

Now it looks more like a bakery where there are sweets and breakfasts, when I arrived I asked for a coffee with milk since they only have coffee in three presentations: Black Coffee, Light Coffee and Coffee with Milk along with a bread cake, the cake was really sweet to the point of not being able to eat it and that I am a sweet lover.

En la búsqueda de un buen Café | Dulces Criollos El Hatillo ☕️ ESP
Hola amantes del café sigue mi búsqueda de encontrar un buen café en El Hatillo. Está vez me fui a Dulces Criollos, pues donde hay dulces siempre hay café y estas son dos cosas que me encantan.
El pueblo del Hatillo se resalta por la belleza de su localidad, en el se han mantenido las casas coloniales con sus características puertas de madera y inmensos ventanales junto a los techos rojos, me mude aquí hace ya 6 meses y aun no encuentro ese lugar con ese café especial para disfrutar, espero poder encontrarlo ya que el Pueblo del Hatillo se ha convertido en una parroquia gastronómica con mas 50 restaurantes y locales.
Recordaba Dulces Criollos como aquel lugar donde realmente podías encontrar los dulces venezolanos, pues tristemente perdido su esencia, su mostrador solo esta lleno de tortas y la mas criollo que hay es la Torta de Pan y Torta tres leches, por ejemplo ya podrás encontrar Dulces Criollos Torta de ahuyama (calabaza), no hay dulce de lechosa (papaya), ni besos de coco ya no es el lugar que recordaba incluso hicieron una remodelación para ampliar un poco el lugar.

| El arte y la religión también se hacen presentes con esta imagen de Jose Gregorio Hernandez llamado"el médico de los pobres" ya que en vida se dedicaba a ayudar a los mas necesitados, sus creyentes le piden que interceda por ellos para la sanción , la gente le atribuye poder de los milagros y hace poco la Iglesia Católica le Beatifico en medio de la pandemia del Covid-19. Junto el Arte de la cromática de Carlos Cruz Diez un gran exponente del arte reconocido a nivel mundial que revoluciona cada espacio espacio el color hecho arte. |

Ahora parece mas una panadería donde hay dulces y desayunos, al llegar pedí un café con leche ya que no tienen mas que café en tres presentaciones Café Negro, Café claro y Café con Leche junto a una torta de pan, realmente la torta estaba muy dulce al punto de no poder comerla y eso que yo soy amante del dulce.

El café con leche tenia un sabor, pero realmente nada especial, así que mi búsqueda por encontrar ese lugar donde pueda tomar un buen café en El Hatillo continua.
