In the morning, once I finished breakfast, I received an invitation from a group of friends to do some shopping, however, this time I was not going to buy anything, I was just in company and to spend a different time in the mall, laugh, check stores and see many people walking through the aisles. Once my friends finished buying their things, I could not leave without making a small stop in one of the bakeries that was in the mall, to enjoy a small snack and spend a pleasant moment with friends. So an unexpected visit to that place, ended up being the best thing that happened to me today and enjoy a series of flavors.
The place where we went, is known as Monagas Plaza Mall, a site that has many years since it was built and today is very well preserved and always offering its best services, great attention and within that mall, which was located in Maturin there are a variety of stores and very good ventures, plus its location is perfect so that many people can go to visit and tour the entire mall, also works all morning, afternoon and part of the night, certainly had some time not going and when you enter note several new sites.
A shopping center that is very spacious and when we get to that place the first thing we can notice is its facade with a series of colors and a very nice design, as it also has some tubes and the doors are glass, which allows us to see inside the Monagas Plaza shopping center. Immediately we enter through one of the corridors and when we reach the center of the mall we can notice a large stone sculpture that caught my attention because of its color, the design that had the same, also on top as the structure of the mall we can see a large window that allows a great lighting to enter the entire corridor, it was certainly something impressive and you can see how many people go to sit and take many pictures.
Once my friends finished their shopping and I finished going all over the mall, we went to the bakery, which is a modern place, a great atmosphere and with a lot of tables and chairs to stay in the place, where this time we ordered coffee and cake, since I wanted to eat something rich and very delicious. We ordered a normal cup of coffee with milk, which was very good, also one of the things I wanted to try was to put some chocolate, I think it was like Nutella on top of the foam, which allowed the coffee with milk to take another very good flavor, also they placed it in a way that made a kind of a mesh, no doubt the decoration lasts very little, as I moved it to be able to drink it very carefully.
While my friends ordered a coffee with normal milk and in the foam a small drawing of flowers, which also looked very good, since a coffee with milk will be very delicious in any of its presentations, the best thing about this one is that it came with a single butter cookie to give a great touch to that coffee. While we drank our coffee, we laughed, talked about soccer and many other things.
I felt like buying something sweet and at the bakery counter there was a large amount of cold cake, which many of them are a delight, so I ordered a tres leches cake, which is a cake that is moist because of the amount of milk that has to be added, also on top it had a white cream with some chocolate, thus achieving a great presentation and an excellent combination of sweet flavors. It was a cake that had an excellent flavor and I am sure that it had very few hours since it was made, my friends also ordered the same cake cold and we stayed there for a long time enjoying the coffee and the cake.
When we all finished eating our little snack in the mall, we paid and left, as the place began to fill up because it was noon time. I really enjoyed going to this place and I am sure I will come back to continue trying the other coffees they sell and the great amount of sweets, besides we all had a great time today.
So friends if you are here in Maturin, and want to go shopping I recommend the Mongas Plaza and I am sure you will find everything and of course taste in this great bakery and you will have a great time do not forget that you can go at any time of the morning or afternoon and the attention will be perfect, and the best thing is that their prices are affordable.
