Hello, coffee friends around the world ☕.
I'm back to share a fond memory that, thanks to this week's Prompt, I can recall.
Of all the coffee shops and places where I've had coffee, one of the most memorable and beautiful moments I've ever experienced took place in a café in the city of Santa Clara.
I don't remember the name of the café. I only know that it's located on a large terrace of a building overlooking Vidal Park, right next to the Hotel Santa Clara Libre.
And what makes this café memorable is that it was in this place where the current members of my guitar quartet Sultasto and I first shared a coffee and breakfast together on our first trip.
These girls are more than coworkers. Over time, we've become closer friends, almost sisters. We're family.
They didn't know they were invited to one of the main chamber music events in our country. So, as the director, friend, and sister of the girls, I wanted to make a special gesture for them.
I wanted to create a memory that would last forever.
For this reason, I invited them to this beautiful café.
The coffee they make is exquisite, and combined with the beauty of a neoclassical building, with large columns, a marble floor, and a beautiful view of Vidal Park, this place was chosen for our first outing.
The coffees came with cookies, sorbets, or chocolates, depending on the type of coffee you ordered.
The girls were delighted and each left very happy with the event, but especially with this first encounter.
So much so that, whenever we remember it, the first thing they talk about is that morning. Also, when any of them have been to Santa Clara, that coffee shop is the first place they go for coffee.
My husband had also gone with us and was one of the people responsible for our stay there. We had already been to this cafe the previous year and liked it so much that we wanted to go again, but this time with my friends.
I've had the opportunity to travel as a soloist throughout the country. But, with my guitar quartet, this was the first major event we were invited to.
This was our first breakfast in Santa Clara.
We've traveled together again and played in several provinces across the country. But that breakfast, with that view and that delicious coffee, marked a before and after: It made a huge difference.
That morning was a delicious start to what would be a wonderful event.
Of course, we loved it so much that we went back every morning and every afternoon during our four-day stay in Santa Clara.

Hola, amigos del café alrededor del mundo ☕.
Regreso para compartir un grato recuerdo que, gracias al Prompt de esta semana, puedo rescatar de mi memoria.
De todas las cafeterías y lugares donde he podido tomar café, una de los más memorables y de los momentos más hermosos que he vivido, tuvo lugar en una cafetería de la ciudad de Santa Clara.
El nombre de la cafetería no lo recuerdo. Solo sé que se encuentra en una amplia terraza, de un edificio con vista al parque Vidal. Justo al lado del Hotel Santa Clara Libre.
Y lo que hace memorable a esta cafetería, es que fue en ese lugar donde primero compartimos juntas un café, un desayuno, las integrantes actuales de mi cuarteto de guitarras Sultasto y yo, en nuestro primer viaje.
Estas muchachas son más que compañeras de trabajo. Con el tiempo nos hemos vuelto más amigas, casi hermanas. Somos familia.
No sabían invitado a uno de los principales eventos de música de cámara de nuestro país. Entonces, yo, como directora, como amiga y hermana de las muchachas, quería tener un detalle con ellas.
Quería crear un recuerdo que perdurara para siempre.
Por tal razón las invité a esta hermosa cafetería.
El café que hacen es exquisito y combinado con la belleza de un edificio de arquitectura neoclásica, con grandes columnas, piso de mármol y una hermosa vista al parque Vidal, hicieron que este lugar fuera el elegido para nuestra primera salida.
Los cafés venían acompañados de galletas o sorbetos o bombones, en dependencia del tipo de café que pidieras.
Las muchachas quedaron encantadas y cada una se fue muy feliz del evento, pero en especial de este primer encuentro.
Tanto que, siempre que lo recordamos, lo primero que comentan es de esa mañana. También, cuando cualquiera de ellas ha estado en Santa Clara, esa cafetería es al primer lugar al que van a tomar café.
Mi esposo también había ido con nosotras y fue uno de los responsables de nuestra estancia allá. Ya nosotros habíamos ido a esta cafetería el año anterior y nos gustó tanto que quisimos repetir pero esa vez, con mis amigas.
He tenido la posibilidad de viajar como solista por todo el país. Pero, con mi cuarteto de guitarras, este fue el primer gran evento al que fuimos invitadas.
Este fue nuestro primer desayuno en Santa Clara.
Hemos vuelto a viajar juntas y hemos tocado en varias provincias de país. Pero aquel desayuno, con aquella vista y aquel delicioso, café marcó un antes y un después: Marcó una gran diferencia.
Esa mañana fue un delicioso inicio para lo que sería un maravilloso evento.
Por supuesto, nos gustó tanto que repetimos cada mañana y cada tarde durante los 4 días de estancia en Santa Clara.
