The church bells rang and Felipa ran out with her rosaries in hand to get to mass on time. Felipa was preparing to receive the coffee harvest and her custom was to offer a mass every month in honor of the saint "San Isidro Labrador", the patron saint of farmers, to save her land from any harm. When the parish priest began to give the gatherings Felipa thought that after this harvest she would live the life she had always dreamed of, since all the money from the previous harvests was taken away by the debts of the bank, inside her she knew that this time it would be the beginning of a great life.

When the date of the harvest arrived, Felipa got out of bed, said a few prayers and then walked to the hallway, while waiting for the harvesters to arrive, she sweetened her coffee every morning with her spoon in a clockwise direction. Suddenly she saw in the distance that the coffee plants to move in a strange way, the wind blew stronger and stronger in her face and she began to hear clumsy footsteps that made Felipa fill with fear and try to move away from there, but the sound of the footsteps was more and more real, to such an extent that the door of the house began to open. Felipa screamed for help, but no one reached her, until a figure with a black hood covering his head began to take steps inside the house. Felipa asked: "What do you want from me?

The man with the black hood did not answer, but continued to approach her, and when Felipa thought it was all over, the figure lifted the hood revealing his face. She screamed in terror when she saw that it was a skeleton, and then the skeleton said to her: "I have come to look for your soul, to take it with me to the kingdom of the dead". When Felipa heard such words, she became furious and answered: "I don't want to die, who will take care of the coffee harvest and the life I always wanted, I will no longer have".
The skeleton told her: "That is your business, but I must fulfill my mission and take you with me". Felipa began to cry, the skeleton was not moved and continued on his way. Since that visit the woman was never the same, all her crops are still being harvested and earning the money she always wanted, but what Felipa does not know is that she died many years ago and her soul was trapped in the world of the living.
Since then, the townspeople began to say that they had seen ghosts in the house of the deceased Felipa. Likewise, no one wanted to buy those lands since the people who drank the coffee from that place experienced strange effects, such as nightmares, headaches and anxiety, until the bodies of the victims writhed in pain while their souls were dragged to hell. No one knew how to recover those coffee plantations that once adorned the fields, but the coffee of the place was cursed and was a direct door so that after death you would work for eternity in those lands without anyone being able to escape its curse.
