Hello hivers, it has been a long time since I posted in this community. I will let you know about our most recent visit to this location.
So, after dinner, we discuss getting coffee before heading home. Then Kaye offered to pay for the coffee and we were overjoyed, so we teased Yor about getting us some cake, and he promised that on our next date, he will treat us and the cake is on him. So we headed out and started thinking about where to go next. We don't want to go to the same place to get coffee and so we agreed to try a different thing. I've been wanting to try UCC since I love their coffee products. They have 3n1 coffee which you can buy in the grocery and I really like it.
We had to go down and take a stroll before going to the coffee shop because we had had a big dinner. We noticed some new stores and shops nearby that are newly opened, and it's wonderful to see this mall growing and improving. On our way to the coffee shop, we noticed some people sitting outside, and I thought to myself, "I hope it's not busy," because the last time we went to visit the place, it was completely packed and we were not able to come in. I'm relieved that there are still a few tables available and that some people are leaving when we arrive.
Kaye saw a good table at the counter that was also visually appealing, as did the chair, which seemed to be unusual for a coffee shop setting. The staff is quick to engage us and greet us with friendly grins. When they handed us the menu, we instantly checked to see what was on it and what coffee was available. I really like the menu; I see various coffee flavors and blends that are new to me and pique my attention. I was wishing I could have it all, but I can't. lol
When it was time to order, I went with the UCC Kori Kohi 16oz iced, which is their all-time favorite and most popular. Kaye ordered the Salted Caramel Latte iced and also in 16oz size, while Yor ordered the UCC Special Blend 12oz hot and also got us some cake. We wanted the chocolate cake, but we also wanted something not too sweet that would go well and balanced taste with our coffee, so we decided on the Pistachio Cake.
We were all pleased with our choices, as well as the cake. It is not very sweet, and you can tell it was freshly made. I really like that it is not overly sweet.
I will definitely visit this coffee shop again because it is close to where I work; however, I would like to try some of the other coffee blends on the menu. Though it was a little pricey, it was well worth it. Aside from the coffee, I can see that there is also food on the menu that looks delectable and that I want to try next time.
That's it for now, hivers. Have a great week ahead and take care!! ❤🧡💛
