Hey, Starbucks fans! Where you at?! My friends and I recently meet up for a despedida since of them will move to Luxembourg, Europe for a secondment at work, while my other friend recently resigned and rendered his last day. Both events deserve a celebration for us!
We first had dinner over Samgyupsal and decided to chill at Starbucks near the samgyupsal place where we had dinner. The Starbucks we went to is located in IT Park, one of their branch with the nicest interiors. Some Starbucks branch are not designed as nice as this branch. Plus, it's relatively huge in area, too.
Upon entering the cafe, their displayed merchandise like mugs, tumblers, coffee beans, and coffee makers, is the first thing you can find attractive.
But these items cost hundreds of dollars that I find too expensive. I used to have a French press similar to the one I saw in Starbucks which only cost half the price that their selling. This only goes to show that the huge factor for the expensive price of their merchandise is their branding. Had there been no "Starbucks" label in the mugs, it would've been cheaper. But of course, quality also had a factor for their expensive price. Its expected to have good quality or else it might hurt their brand name.
We also hopped in to other cafes nearby and I can't believe there are still so many people, considering it was already quite late.
As I've said in my previous coffee shop blogs, maybe people are so into coffee shops because it allows them to focus and think better. A good cafe is always aesthetic too since people now a days are visual thinkers- to see is to believe, as they say.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love,
Jane
