Coffee and life. Baptizing a new beginning with coffee.

Love greetings to all my Hive friends, especially coffee lovers. As I mentioned in my previous post my dear @aly.squid and I are in the middle of our moving process. It has been days of a lot of stress and worries, as the situation in Venezuela is getting worse and worse, economically, in terms of basic services and believe it or not even in the little things that in other contexts are indispensable for life. So, with everything going uphill in our beautiful country, the only thing we can do is to have a delicious coffee in our new residence.

We prepare the coffee in the house where we are living and take it in our small thermos to our new home. The coffee, as always our favorite brand that we have already reviewed before in this beautiful community, the Venezuelan coffee El Favorito. The house we are moving to is literally next door, so we have been moving things little by little on foot. Here I show you a little bit of the journey from one house to the other, of course with our thermos full of our beloved coffee.

I have commented on other occasions that for me many things in life turn out to be a ritual. And in the case of coffee it is even more profound, since coffee is so linked to so many things in life that it is impossible for me not to link the coffee experience with something mystical. Ancestral, cultural and family memories are activated in each sip and literally a cup of coffee turns out to be a warm embrace in the midst of so much hustle and bustle and uncertainty.

Something that also makes this coffee ritual special, is to always share it with my favorite person @aly.squid, coffee has always been part of the most special moments of our loving union. And this new beginning is no exception. We poured our two cups, offered each other loving and comforting words and toasted to a new beginning.

It was literally like baptizing ourselves and our new home with our favorite sacred liquid, coffee. We felt very August and we treasure that magical moment of sharing a delicious coffee for the first time in our new residence.

Thank you for being this beautiful space to compete these moments of magic and coffee. I hope to be here soon toasting with you with a delicious cup of coffee. I say goodbye for now leaving you a strong coffee hug.
