Que preocupante los informe de guerra. Estoy lejos geográficamente de algún conflicto pero emocionalmente cerca de tanto sufrimiento propio de los enfrentamientos físico y lenguaje violento. Y en esta era de la comunicación global estamos enterados de todos los pormenores de los conflictos entre las naciones.
Lo seres humanos conocemos muy bien los estragos de la guerra pero aun así el hombre se precipita en esa dirección con regularidad. Será que piensa que esta vez la guerra si solucionara todo y traerá beneficios perdurables para la humanidad. Según lo que vemos no es así.
Como seres humanos es normal que tengamos diferencias y que bueno es cuando las resolvemos en sana paz dialogando y compartiendo un café. No estoy diciendo que el café soluciona todo y no se trata de crear un mundo de utopía donde todo está bien pero por experiencia sé que sentarme frente a frente con alguien para trata un asunto serio mientras pedimos un café y lo tomamos juntos es muy provechoso para limar asperezas, hablar calmadamente y llegar a acuerdos beneficiosos para ambas partes.
How disturbing the reports of war. I am geographically far away from any conflict but emotionally close to so much suffering of physical confrontations and violent language. And in this age of global communication we are privy to all the ins and outs of conflicts between nations.
We human beings know very well the ravages of war but still man rushes in that direction on a regular basis. Perhaps he thinks that this time war will solve everything and bring lasting benefits to mankind. As far as we can see, this is not the case.
As human beings it is normal to have differences and how good it is when we resolve them in healthy peace through dialogue and sharing a cup of coffee. I am not saying that coffee solves everything and I am not trying to create a world of utopia where everything is fine, but from experience I know that sitting face to face with someone to discuss a serious matter while we order a coffee and drink it together is very helpful to smooth out differences, talk calmly and reach agreements beneficial to both parties.
En la antigüedad compartir una comida o una bebida era señal entendimiento e incluso fomentaba las amistades. Y de hecho todavía en el mundo actual se ve como un símbolo de que queremos dialogar. Un ejemplo es la bebida paraguaya de Tereré. Esta es una bebida que se prepara con yerba Mate y otras plantas medicinales y se puede tomar fría usando una bombilla parecida a un pitillo de metal. Según la tradición esa bebida se ofrece para propiciar la comunicación el entendimiento y la inclusión entre los que se juntan a beberla. Así es, para dialogar hace falta buena disposición y calidad humana pero con certeza se que acompañar la conversación con una bebida como un buen café suaviza los ánimos relaja y crea un ambiente donde se pueda conversar plantear las inquietudes de la partes y llegar a algún acuerdo con beneficios mutuos. Ojala fuera así de fácil o mejor dicho ojala el hombre no lo complicara todo y ojala los líderes mundiales estuvieran dispuestos a llegar a acuerdos para salvaguardar la vida de la civilización actual.

Qué bueno sería que este conflicto secaran del juego el orgullo, el egoísmo y dieran cabida a una bebida como el café una bebida neutral que existe en diferentes culturas y países que lo toman los poderosos y los débiles adinerados y de escasos recursos hombres y mujeres una bebida que une y no divide un café por la conversación el entendimiento y la paz. How good it would be if this conflict dried up pride and selfishness from the game and made room for a beverage like coffee, a neutral beverage that exists in different cultures and countries that is drunk by the powerful and the weak, the wealthy and the poor, men and women, a beverage that unites and does not divide, a coffee for conversation, understanding and peace.
