Coffee is amazing, but sometimes you just need something cool and refreshing. Iced coffee hits the spot on a hot day.
Most people adore iced coffee because it's so refreshing and instantly cools you down. There are countless ways to make it and tons of flavors to try out.
After our class ended, my friends and I decided to grab some iced coffee at a mall. The weather was scorching, even inside the school, so we felt like we deserved a cool treat.
We ended up at the newly constructed Gaisano City Mall in Bacolod City. It's an expansion of the main Gaisano mall, and it seems to be drawing a lot of people due to its affordable groceries, appliances, clothes, and more. One thing that stood out to me was the variety of options in the food court and beverage stalls. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy some good food and drinks.

I stumbled upon an iced coffee at Daygon Coffee. Besides iced coffee, they also have a variety of other drinks such as lemonade, soft drinks, and more. What's impressive is that they offer both hot and cold coffee as well as non-coffee drinks.

The prices are quite reasonable, starting at just Php 39.00, making it very budget-friendly, especially for students.

During my visit, my friend and I ordered a caramel macchiato and Ube latte for ourselves, and a cucumber lemonade for another friend. While waiting for our drinks, I asked the barista if I could take a picture with the coffee, and she kindly gave me permission. It was a delightful experience!

After a few minutes, the drinks were finally ready, and the girl asked me to take a picture of her with the drinks, so I happily obliged. She looked absolutely stunning. I definitely plan on returning to the café another day; she's incredibly friendly and down-to-earth.

Let me introduce you to the star of the show: the caramel macchiato, Ube latte, and cucumber lemonade. Each drink was a delightful surprise in its own right.
As I took my first sip, I immediately felt a sense of relaxation wash over me. The flavors were exquisite, and the overall balance was perfect. I would easily rate the caramel macchiato a solid 10/10.

It was such a fantastic day spent at the mall with my friends, enjoying these delicious beverages as we strolled around. We're already making plans to return and buy some more flavors on our next visit.
