Me and my long distance friend decided to meet up last December because it's been a long time since we had a chitchat after she moved to Tacloban city for college. We were looking for a cafe that is not very crowded and has a good ambience. Luckily her brother recommended Dahun Cafe to us. It is located in 20 Sepulveda St, Zapatera Cebu City. It is quite far from our hometown but we wanted to explore something new. The cafe is open everyday from 8am - 9pm but I'm not sure if they are available during holidays.
When we arrive at the place, we were very much happy because the interior of cafe expresses simplicity and calmness but at the same time it has an aesthetic ambience. The place feels so homie and both of us really enjoyed the place. Their staffs was very attentive and welcoming. They were kind enough to guide us to the available chairs we could occupy. We were also amaze because one of the staff told us that the cafe was an old house before. It was decided to renovate and turn it into a cafe.
We got there menu and the prices range from 100-500. I don't think it's affordable for students but I will tell you, the prices was worth it and you get the quality of what you've payed for. We ordered few of their drinks for us to try. We got few of their lattes. There drinks was amazing, it wasn't too sweet, it has the perfect blend. Their mango sticky rice is a must try, it was a bit expensive for the portion they have served but definitely it was worth it. They also have a selection of pastries you can try.
The cafe was absolutely 10 out of 10. Another thing, they have wifi that every customer could access so place is not only good for chillin' but also a great nice place to study or quietly work on your laptop because the noise was very minimal when we visit. I would definitely come back again in Dahun Cafe very soon, hopefully. This Cafe is definitely a recommend!
