Today, I want to share with you once again another coffee review, in an opportunity I had told you in a review of the Yocoima coffee brand, extra strong type, here I leave you the link Yocoima Extra Fuerte, that brand has variety of coffee, casually I bring you the gourmet type, you know I am visiting the Hiper Galería mall, in which I got this coffee, by the way I have other brands that soon I will have the opportunity to show you. This coffee, as I had told you, comes from the state of Bolivar, specifically from Upata, it owes its name in honor of the community of Yocoima, in this reel it is mentioned Yocoima, I love it when they make reference to the culture and tradition of cultivating and processing coffee, maintaining the standards of quality.
This Gourmet coffee, as it says on the back of its packaging, is the result of the mixture of beans, selected from different parts of the country, or specifically from where, but in their social networks on Instagram, they make it very clear that it is a 100% Venezuelan product, that is, that their beans are chosen in our country. The packaging is gold in color, with black and red letters, with a decoration of a small coffee bean band at the bottom, with red lines around it. The top also has a red and white line. On the reverse side there is information about the coffee. As for the type of grinding, it is medium, helping to a better extraction of the coffee. And the roasting is medium, which guarantees to highlight the flavor, smell and acidity of the coffee.
On July 29, at the Hipermarket Galeria supermarket, I bought this coffee with the best joy, I don't know about you, but it happens to me, that when I buy a new coffee, it makes my soul happy, it gives me an incredible satisfaction, and my emotions are expressed to the maximum. Happy with my coffee, I did not wait long, when I arrived home in the afternoon, I set out to prepare it, or rather my husband went ahead of me to open the package, which did not please me, it is not that I am selfish, but since I am trying coffee, every detail for me is a ritual and therefore, every step I want to do it myself. Although my son Abrahán also joined the sabotage, he is on guard in the kitchen, every time the smell of coffee reaches his nostrils, the idea I like is that he continues learning how to perform this ritual, what I am noticing is that he loves pure coffee, he gets annoyed when I give it to him as a guayoyo.
The traditional method is always my choice. I can say that after doing my ritual of elaboration, I could verify that the brown color of the ground beans, give off a gratifying fruity smell. In the brewing, the aroma that it gives off is exquisite, pleasant and therapeutic, you know that I like this part, the color of the brewed coffee, with the right amount of coffee, I loved the dark brown color. As for the taste, I loved how it made me want it in my mouth, each sip was appreciated with the best desire, I enjoyed it very much. I gave it to my guests and their opinion was positive, so it passed the test in my kitchen, this coffee type Gourmet Yocoima, I recommend it to my lovers of good coffee.
