From now on I tell you that the choice of where to sit in a coffee shop depends on personal preferences and what we are looking for with the visit, that is to say what objective we pursue then if we go in a hurry and we just want to have a quick coffee, being near the bar will allow us to receive the service much faster, since we are close to where it is prepared.
It is also feasible to be near the bar if you are interested in learning about the place, the service they provide, because sitting close to the bar offers us more opportunities to interact with the bar employees, sometimes my sister and I try to be close to talk to them and promote the coffee from our farm.
On occasions we have chosen to sit near the bar because my niece likes to observe how some drinks are prepared and being close by you can see how they do it, what techniques they use and then incorporate them at home.
When we go to wash the car we love to sit near the windows because from there we can see the whole process of cleaning the car.
Now, there are many occasions when we go to a coffee shop because we need to relax and be in a quiet environment, away from the noise and movement generated by the bar, so a secluded place is ideal to enjoy our coffee, or to read, work or check some task on the cell phone or laptop.
When we go to a coffee shop to have a business meeting or hold a more intimate conversation, the ideal is to look for a quiet space, a little apart, to avoid distractions and provide a more private and discreet environment.
When I go to the cafeterias in Old Havana, I like to sit outdoors because what I like most is to enjoy the environment which is very peculiar and attractive, especially for the architecture of its buildings, its streets, its people and all the bustle and joy of the city.
