Greetings coffee lovers
On a rainy day, how could you not want to enjoy a nice hot cup of that rich, aromatic beverage we call coffee?

In the city of Caracas, where I have been visiting my mother and sisters for a few days, it has rained almost every day. A cold drizzle that can last for hours. I love this weather, and it's one of the reasons I like this city where I was born.
Yesterday morning, I went shopping with my sister, and it was raining. We arrived at a neighborhood in the El Valle parish called Los Jardines, and after shopping, she said to me, "Morela, let's go to the El Valle shopping center and have a cup of coffee at the bakery."
I told her, of course, that I would like to. You don't turn down an invitation for coffee. But at that moment, I remembered a café I wanted to visit, which my sisters had been to. So I asked her where it was, and she said, "It's right here, across the avenue. Let's go to that one; it's very nice."

We crossed Intercomunal Avenue, dodging the motorcycles, walked a few meters, and arrived at the Valle Café.

The entrance is very nice, and there are tables and chairs outside. We went in, and I loved the decor.

The café was not very busy, perhaps because of the time of day. I imagine that at midday and in the afternoon it can get crowded because they also offer empanadas, cakes, and non-alcoholic cocktails.

The tables have a figure of Groot, a fictional character from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy, in the center. I thought it was very original.

We went up to order our coffees. The changing screen shows the specialties. I ordered a flat white, and my sister ordered a latte.
We sat down to wait to be served, and, while we talked, we drank our coffee, which was nice and hot, just the way I like it.

We asked the young woman who served us to take a picture of us, and she kindly did so.

It was very pleasant to be at El Valle Café. I enjoyed the coffee in the company of my sister. When we left, it was still drizzling.
Thank you very much for reading about this experience I shared with you, and I hope you enjoyed seeing this beautiful café through the photographs
