Hello all you Coffee Loving Hivers!
Sometimes you always have that one guest that comes along when you're about to eat or about to have a coffee and today it was this guy. Call it second sight, call it a sixth sense or call it good old fashioned "I just smelled what you guys have" here he was just as I was prepping coffee and ginger snaps.
Come on where's your food at boat people? Gimme! Gimme now! Give it up!
Nope!
This, my uninvited friend, is for us. A nice treat of freshly made Tanzanian coffee made with our little Moka Pot. A few ginger snaps on the side cos that's how we roll.
This is only our second morning on the boat and we are still adjusting to all of it. Time zone, weather, the fact that we live on a boat and just about everything. But I can already see that coffee time (and beer time) are going to be an interesting variety of different locations. The views and environment ever changing. A different backdrop for coffee, beer and dinner at every turn. Never really knowing where we will be at any point in time.
As we can see there will be wildlife dropping in also from time to time to say hello. I can't help but feel that as much as we gave up a splendid view in the Philippines, we have gained an ever changing landscape to enjoy and keep us entertained.
So as we sip away at our coffee today we are filled with excitement as to where the rivers and canals will be leading us once free from the restraints of quarantine and self isolation.
Can't help but smile at the prospect of what is to come!
